Bigg Boss hasn't given a pass to violence by bringing Archana back.

People both inside and outside the house are saying that, by bringing Archana back to Bigg Boss, the makers have given a pass to violence.

This is not true! Archana was brought back, but not by giving the reason that violence is not a big deal. It still is, even if its not enough to throw you out of the house (at least this is what the makers are saying). Since Shiv planned to provoke Archana, and brought outside stuff to do the provocation, instead of sticking to matters of the house, he can't be called a victim. Because a victim would never plan his/her own assault for an ulterior motive and bringing outside stuff in the show is against the rules. Now whether this reasoning makes sense or not is not the point. The point is Archana and Shiv's fight was very different from Shalin and Stan's fight.

Stan started it by throwing abuses, and he was the first one to bring outside stuff by going on Shalin's family with the comment "tere baap ka hain kya". Stan came to hit Shalin and Shalin acted in self defense. Shiv shoved Shalin's face while trying to separate Shalin from Stan.

Here, Shalin was the victim because he didn't plan any of this. Saying comments like "tere baap ki aukaat hain, maa ki aukat hain..." can come under provocation but Stan again was the one to first go on Shalin's family.

Stan would get his punishment by getting nominated for 4 weeks. But its unfair to him that Archana didn't get any punishment. Yes, she was evicted, but she came back just after one day, so she was let off the hook easily. Coming to Shiv, he shoved Shalin's face but he did it in a heated moment. But then Shalin also got physical with Archana in a task, when things were heated.

Still he was punished by Bigg Boss, by being nominated and not allowed to be captain for weeks. So Shiv too deserves some punishment. That punishment doesn't have to be eviction, because again they brought Archana back. But even if the makers had decided to evict Stan and Shiv, they would have a point that in this fight there was a victim. Unlike Archana and Shiv's fight, where there wasn't. At the very least, Shiv needs to reprimanded by the host and/or Bigg Boss.

Also Shalin didn’t do anything wrong here at all that he is being blamed by makers . Stan abused him first to which he just retaliated and when Stan clearly went to harm him , he had every damn right to defend himself.

Lets just agree that this show is and was never about rules or morality or norms. It was always just about cheap entertainment. Someone like Sajid being on the show itself robs it of any legitimacy

So people who watch should accept why they watch, cheap celibrities doing cheap things for attention and entertainment. And once you accept the premise you will know that then rules and morality don't matter

No point in being outraged when rules go against your favorite, or violence goes against your favorite. The show is not some bastion of social value, it is just pure, cheap, unadulterated entertainment. And hence entertaining candidates will always get a free pass, both with makers and with the audience

I totally agree 👍 .....Archana is Symbol of Probity & Peace

Archana is ShantiDhoot of BB S16 ....... Infact they should put a statue of Archana in the living room of BB house as an inspiration to others ....... mai to kehta hoon usko Nobel Peace Prize ke liye bhi nominate karna chahiye

So what if she has thrown water on Gori's face ......... in reality she was just trying give Gori a facial , ....so what if she twisted Daku Gori's hand ......... In reality she was giving Gori a physiotherapy session........So what if she squeezed Shiv's throat ......In reality she was using a Chinese massage technique to clear Shiv's throat.

Archana may have said loads of derogatory things on outside & inside issues to Gori, Manya, Soundarya, Sajid, Shiv, Shalin etc etc....... but it was all with a good intent........hence no one went after her throat...... such is Archana's greatness

P.S - Btw Salman saying Shiv planned the whole incident is giving too much credit to Shiv's intelligence......the bugger has a IQ of Sloth....... but then Salman is no different.

Nhi bhia bb toh khud hi laywer ban gaya shiv ka he wasnt even questioned🤪Bb ne toh usko khud clean chit dedi. Coming to archu she did violence provoked by outside stuff plus shiv was given full power to throw her out and she was humiliated even after apologising. Do the same with shiv n stan fir le aao wapas🤢

This has nothing to do with my original post. When did I claim Bigg Boss is supposed to give a social message? I'm just saying the argument other contestants or fans are making, that bringing Archana back meant Bigg Boss is giving a pass to violence, doesn't work.

Neither Shalin or Stan are my favourites nor I'm outraged over anything. Also Stan is providing no entertainment. He's useless for Bigg Boss to keep him for content.

What is this rant for? Did you even read my post? I never claimed any of what you wrote about Archana.

And yes Shiv planned it all, that is why on the same day before the incident, he was talking about knowing Archana's hook, and how we should keep on provoking her. What was the purpose of him provoking her if not wanting Archana to give a reaction?

Also when Archana grabbed Shiv's neck, he didn't try to remove her hand, when its a natural instinct to protect yourself and anyone in his place would've done it. He didn't show any reflex because he knew it and wanted it. And after that, Shiv again went in front of Archana and provoked her asking to attack him. Which victim asks the abuser to abuse him again?
