I liked Abdu and still do. Hard not to like him when he does his cute antics on screen but he’s going wrong for which people are speaking up and his behavior isn’t attractive anymore.
Firstly, his unnecessary hate towards Priyanka is unfair. Take today for example, he understood her completely wrong during nomination. Was it wrong that she spoke up to give her explanation during nomination? What did she say? That he isn’t able to take his own decisions because he gets influenced by Shiv/Sajid. Was she wrong? No. Abdu himself admitted today that he wanted to save Nimrit but couldn’t because of Sajid. He previously said during room allotment and video task, he wanted to take Nimrit’s name but couldn’t because of Shiv and Sajid. Isn’t that manipulation? If not how else will you define it. Yes, language barrier made him understand that Priyanka said he has no game which is untrue. But again, didn’t people say treat him as an adult? If he’s in the bigg boss house, nomination is part of the game. To hate someone, to claim they are his “biggest dushman” when the girl didn’t even nominate him, is that fair? I’m sorry but that doesn’t make him likable.
And whatever he said about Priyanka forbidding Ankit for roti’s, don’t you think chances are that he misunderstood her the same way he misunderstood her today? I hope this is brought up and clarified during WKV. Because you may hate her for her loud voice and involvement in fights but she is not inhumane. She’s always raised her voice when it came to rationing. Divided rooms so everyone other than those who divided food unfairly suffer. That girl wouldn’t eat from Ankit’s room because it wasn’t her ration. And if anyone saw in LF she could have influenced Ankit giving more to them but she didn’t. She would never say anything like that.
Leaving Priyanka aside, he even started bitching about Sajid. He didn’t argue during nomination and readily agreed to nominate Nimrit. Later, he told Stan that he was angry because Sajid chose Ankit. Then he went to Sajid and told him he was alright and just the two of them should stick. Then back to Stan/ Shiv he again said he was angry and actually sounded very annoyed. So if he is so angry, why the double face? Sajid is his friend, isn’t it? He can tell him that he doesn’t agree with the decision. Like Sajid khan said, be a butterfly but the way he is going, he’s losing his essence.
While we may empathize because of his nationality, size, etc, and some of you may even disagree to this because your hate/ dislike for Priyanka is probably stronger than logic, honestly, does all this make him look good? Crying and getting upset about nominating is okay because everyone is but hating people for it is wrong. Especially when they haven’t done anything. It was Sumbul and Gautam who nominated him. Saying Priyanka uses Ankit as a towel (LF) when he has no idea about their relationship and all that she went through is another unfair point. Isn’t he smart? Can’t he read people? How is he making such judgments? Saying he doesn’t want to sleep with Sumbul just because she nominated him? What happened to being treated as an adult?
To me personally, i have lost the fondness for him. If people are calling him out, that’s because they see through it. Your personal struggles in life make you empathetic towards people but they don’t change your personality or your trait. Yes, you can say he is in bad company or being influenced but no one can stop your inner nature from coming out. If you are slightly bitter, it comes up no matter what and that’s what I see in Abdu these days. Yes you can never hate him but you can’t support him blindly either. I think it’s extremely unfair that he is a contestant since there is way too much favoritism for him on the show as well. Pretty sure no major physical tasks because of him too.
Anyway I just wanted to vent out all that I have been seeing on LF and episodes recently because I don’t like it and it breaks my heart since I have been very fond of him. Like I already said, I know people will hate on this post too but if you have genuine comments that makes me see it differently I’d like to read :)
