I want to first make it clear that I know Rakhi's husband is a frawd. He's no software engineer and I also know that he has a history of domestic violence with his real wife.
The way he talked to Rakhi was wrong too. But that doesn't mean Salman or Bigg Boss makers or any of the contestants have the right to question his identity.
Yes, Ritesh could come to Bigg Boss only because of Rakhi. But it doesn't mean Rakhi or makers of Bigg Boss have done an ehsaan on him. The channel thought that he could bring something to the table, that's why he was brought. He's working for them and getting paid for it.
The way Salman and Rashami questioned his identity by saying statements like tumhe jaanta kaun tha... tumhari aukat kya hain... tumhe sab Rakhi ki wajah se jaante hain...this shows their classist attitude.
So according to Bhai logic, if Ritesh was a known actor or celebrity, he would've got the right to treat Rakhi like that? Or if Rakhi wasn't a celebrity, she deserved to get treated like that?
Why bring all these points that she's popular and you're not unless you think commoners can't treat celebrities like that but not vice-versa?
Salman has a history of disrespecting contestants who are not from the entertainment industry. Just look at how he treats Umar. Rashami can question Ritesh identity and insult him, by saying tujhe jaanta kaun hain....teri aukat kya hain. That is all correct but if Ritesh in reply says to Rashami ki tujhe jaanta kaun hain...main tujhe nahi jaanta...then he's insulting her years of work and struggle.
According to these celebs and actors, sirf yahi kaam karte hain aur yahi struggle karte hain. Baki engineer ya doctor toh koi bhi ban sakta hain. Baki jitne bhi profession hain, wo sab faltu hain, bekar hain.
I know Bigg Boss is an entertainment show, and popularity matters the most here.
But commoners too have come on this show and have gained huge fan-following and have beaten the celebs. And life of these contestants don't start and end with Bigg Boss either. They all have work outside. If Bigg Boss is bringing commoners in the show, they should be given the same respect like the celebs and the actors, especially when Salman himself claims that they all are equal.
I don't see anyone raising this issue on this forum, obviously because nobody cares about Ritesh. But it's not just about Ritesh. Tomorrow Salman can say the same thing to Umar or any other commoner.
Tommorow even you can be in Bigg Boss house as a contestant and I don't think you'd like to be treated as a second class citizen there just because of your background.
