I don't believe he is a 'sidekick'. More than half of the people that call him to be a 'sidekick' are the bhakts of Pratik.😆 So it's the jelousy that Umar got to become a Captain before their Master did and surprisingly, that Umar is giving it back to the bullies lol. He was learning from Karan yes, playing under his guidance - but now Umar is beginning to slowly blossom. I am quite surprised, as I didn't expect Umar to grow so well. He's coming into his own and the general audience is able to see that.

I think the whole afsana episode where he chose teja (on karans behest) over afsana gave chance to people to propagate that tag.

He is not a side kick. And I really like Karan’s approach. He does not jump to his friend’s rescue and show them weak. Lot of friend with convenience try to influence, interfer, and possessive. If friend does something else then becomes angry. That is what happened in Asim-Sidh friendship. Siddharth did not listen any of his friends including Asim. But here, they are equal, fight their battle alone. But still they will save each other with first priority.

Only thing is he needs to find someone where he can be someones no. 1. Right now he is noones number 1 as shown by trp wala segment. But woh bhi theek he, he is getting so much eyeballs and doing so much in the show on his own organically that he doesn’t need to depend TOO much on anyone. What i dont like is people don’t appreciate his favors enough and I hope he does get the payback when right time comes.

I’ve always liked him. He wasn’t the strongest contestant, but he’s not from the industry. He needed to gain some confidence.

Ever since Rashmi and Ekta told him he plays well, I think his confidence has grown by leaps.

And even KK says Umar does his own. He’s not a sidekick. He’s taken his time to understand peoples strengths and weaknesses and now he’s playing his game.

His speech may not be the best, but boy does he shut the others up with his logics.

I am rooting for him to win

Interestingly what looked like bashing from sallu after cohost neha and Shamita gave their views, he praised him for last 2 weeks. Which was important for someone like Umar who not only lacked confidence but was further pushed down by sallu. This is good wkv for him so far - tomorrow will be another story on what unfolds due to the altercation with pratik once again. He is still loud for me but I get it. One unfortunately has to be loud when dealing with pratik + shammo + neha to get a word in.

he is doing better. He still has shown heavy influence by KK last week. It’s a fact. Because when people say KK-Teja-Umar. It’s KK-Teja first and will always be and there was no Teja-Umar (teja was part of KK BOGO offer). I am going to adopt a wait and watch policy because all said and done - the tags they give (not us) for other contestants as Bhai / behen / bff are shown to be useless (as we seen how they deal with many HMs after giving those tags). Let’s see how this unfolds with some degree of cautious optimism.

Umar's graph has immensely grown from the past two weeks. He's playing his own game in his way.

People calling him he's K's bla bla are nothing but the jealous souls who couldn't find a single mistake in him. But he's very loyal to KK n people are portraying at as him being a follower. Hopefully, I want Umar to see and know that he's neither KK's priority nor Teja's. He alone shouldn't invest for them. It should always be give n take. He has to understand that they are doing nothing for him.

And as he said to Neha if he found the opposite person doesn't treat him as his friend, he would leave them. I want to see this happening. I don't want his hard work credited to be taken by some one who's doing little in the show.

So far, I'm loving Umar's game.❤️❤️❤️

Good job Umar, he put his point about emotionally weak very nicely to Teja. Teja was playing double cross. Umar is absolutely right about him strongest person emotionally because he is a doctor. And doctors are very strong emotionally, they are trained to be emotionally strong.

He has every quality to win the show.i must say he is sorted than asim,asim chota bhai,thoda to bachpana tha.Umar has maturity.

He studied every person, and got to know about them in and out. This is called smart person. He bought 3-4 weeks to understand HMs. I think he has best understanding of game right now.
