Talking about previous seasons, last season itself because of Rakhi 4 lacs were deducted from prize money and were never given back even after Rubina won the show.

So it's not necessary that contestants would've definitely got the chance to recover the whole amount and even if they were, no guarantee that they would actually end up earning it.

It's all up to Bigg Boss on how much prize money they want to give to the winner and apparently they only want to give 25 lacs this season. Bas bill Jay ke naam par phaad diya but this was totally Bigg Boss decision.

Strictly to me: Jay ruined Bigg Boss game & this theme because he did not understand the game. Shamita pointed that out. So we as the audience should be on BB's side, not Jay who damaged the season. And Yes, Jay ruined the script of a reality show.... I accept that. But as a result, we will watch boring people. You accept that too.

I agree. Jay failed to understand the reason of the task - to end the Jungle theme. He failed to look at the big picture trying to be hero. I think being on 6th rank after Pratik made him desperate. Personally, I liked his stance but it was not the correct one to take from show's POV. I feel this is being highlighted too much to remove attention from Karan's WWE karnama.

It looked like jay expects to win n he was not liking the idea that his prize money will be lessen down.

He know he is not going so soon and will at least stay in top 5. He was quoting his daughter because may be he felt that his daughter will grow up n see that her father sacrificed the money for comfort. And the money can be used for his daughter's future.

And in one of the episodes he said he wants lot of money for his daughter's future.

Being a parent may be he felt like that in that situation.
