Ruby's English skills - Page 5

Her command on Hindi is pretty darn strong, which happens to be her first language. She is able to communicate and convey her thoughts in English and that is good enough. Don't think she has any immediate ambition to teach or act in any English series. So, it's all good.

Of course it's all good!! Chill guys, this is a fun post with a disclaimer accompanying it and will continue so long as Rubina behaves in a condescending manner and arrogantly with others and continues showing off her English because she does do it!!

No one else other than Jasmin to a certain extent and and Abhinav to a lesser extent now makes it a point to spout English to drive a wedge between themselves and the other lesser mortals on this show.

Eijaz, Rahul V and Vikas do speak a lot in English but either in response to Rubina madam or just like that without any superiority complex.

So I will continue from time to time because I don't care for arrogance and want to give it back.

The day she comes down from her high pedestal, I'll stop!

By the way she used façade also in a wrong way yesterday when she was speaking about Rakhi to abhinav and said She makes a façade blablabla instead of She makes a fuss!

The expressions are To make a fuss and to put up a façade. You can't make a façade!

In yesterday's episode when RM and ruby were in the bedroom and rakhi fiasco happened ...RM said usko shayad lagi nahi hai and drama kar rahi hai aisa kuch

To which rubina replied. this ..with a very ajeeb tone as if kasht ho raha hai shabd bolne mein 😆

First, it's commendable she's able to speak English and Hindi. I live in the US, even Americans can't speak English properly. It's odd that people attack her on her language skills when English isn't even an official language in India. Also, the ones attacking her don't even have proper grammer in their own comment they make.

Secondly, I never claimed that my English was perfect.

Also, I would like to place on record that I have never derided anyone else on the show whereas none of them except for Vikas and Eijaz speaks faultless English. Rubina is the chosen one and also rarely Jasmin and abhinav because of the intent behind their choosing to speak in English.

If you're doing it to put down others, I will put you down too and that's my prerogative. If you don' like my posts, please don't read them.

Can anyone explain to me what exactly she meant when she told Eijaz "Don't come in between and do your dance"🤣🤣 I don't claim that my English is great, but I haven't seen this term being used even when people speak colloquial English😆

haan bilkul, it was so weird!! Arrey every time she opens her mouth with so much confidence, pearls keep dropping, pearls of so-called wisdom according to her bhakts when she speaks in Hindi using all types of rare words just to impress others with her knowledge and pearls of mistakes and ignorance when she chooses English.

Either way whether she chooses her matrubhasha or her snobbish avatar wala bhasha, it all looks fake and artificial because she is just trying to show off!

By the way my Hindi is really bad because I am from the South and Hindi is not my mother tongue!

And yessss guys please please feel free to contribute more and more pearls from the horse's mouth!!🤣

She creates her response in her mind in Hindi and translates as is to English. you’ll get your answer if you translate it back to Hindi as is 😛 Eijaz responded in perfect English to it coz even he now understands the only reason she uses English is to prove she is better
