BB overdoing this Marathi Jaan issue

There was no need to ask Jaan to apologize for his comments and I will tell you why.

Imagine your in a university in America and you are grouped with Chinese students and they keep on blabbering in Chinese, would you like it? No, so the case is same with Jaan issue. He didn't say anything about Marathi language but Rahul and Nikki who were being disrespectful to him and now it has taken an ugly turn outside the house where Kumar Sanu is attacking Jaan's mother for not upbringing him properly.

P.S: I remember in Prince's season, Prince and that singer guy were reprimanded by BB for speaking in Punjabi, shouldn't same go for Rahul and Nikki for speaking a regional language in the show?

I'm from Mumbai, I did not feel anything derogatory in what Jaan said. Whoever brought this up in media clearly doing it for votes. BB should have called and reprimanded everyone for speaking in any language other than hindi. This would have clarified the show's intension too. This show is for a hindi channel after all. There is regional BB to speak in the local language. Also, if channel wants to apologise they can, why should Jaan do it? BB aapki ninda karte hai.. what nonsense.

Ya, it was really blown way out of proportion. Jaan was just annoyed cus they were clearly talking in a language infront of him that he doesn't understand - its naturally irritating!

I totally agree that BB made a big deal out of it but I think it had more to do the with threats from political outfits. In the past seasons BB had stopped people from talking in regional languages and also in English...but this season, I haven't seen BB stop or punish anyone for speaking in English. So I can understand if he let go those occasional instances when Nikki spoke in Marathi. Nothing to do with favoring Nikki.

No TRPs... otherwise they had bigger issues in previous seasons but never apologized. 😆
