Hey peeps!
I am Sindhu and this is my first post on this Bigg Boss forum. Please don't bash me for my views. I strongly felt this and had to express and share with a group of readers and discuss it.
I am watching Bigg Boss Tamil and Bigg Boss Hindi which are running simultaneously on TV right now. There is too much toxicity in the behaviour of most of the men in the house. Each one is triggered very quickly and simply just wants to tarnish the other person's image. Humanity and Respect is just lost fighting for things.
Each one is losing their dignity and not maintaining any kind of class and decorum. For the lifestyle of these well established actors and actresses, I don't think this is the kind of behaviour one would expect.
Bigg Boss Tamil has also been running for 2 weeks now. It is really heartening and nice to see people bond, have issues, fight it and resolve it with a sorry as well. They are trying to maintain decorum. And especially the men in the house have so much respect for the women and vice versa. And neither do the men there find every tiny opportunity to pounce on another man and show their masculinity.
I personally find Bigg Boss Hindi too crass. Siddharth Shukla being the main reason for the toxicity. When there are three seniors, I do not understand why Sara was ousted when 2 of them did not agree to it. He tries to mansplain a lot of things. And he is the biggest Man-Child one has ever seen on TV. Too cranky and stubborn. It is also very cringey to see him overpower conversations by screaming. Hina explained it well, that others need to scream to match his level as well.
For the Jasmin-Nikki Task, Despite the majority vote for Jasmin, he tried to drag the matter and put his points in louder, staunch manner. But I am glad Gauhar and Hina stood their ground. Infact it shouldnt have even become such an issue as it was 2 against 1. Yet he stretched the matter long enough and started mansplaining things.
Also, during conversations with Gauhar and Hina, I feel like Siddharth tries to overpower their opinion.
Abhinav on the other hand, doesn't behave the way Siddharth or any other man in the team does. He has respect for the people while he speaks to them. Maintains his dignity and does not stoop low simply because the other person is. I like how level headed he is. I am not sure if that is the popular opinion though.
About the contestants in general, I feel Bigg Boss Hindi contestants are tooooo crass and disrespectful of one another. I really did not enjoy the part where they made fun of Abhinav and Rubina as a couple. You can't degrade a person or a couple you don't know. It felt too unnecessary. And I think they should really stop giving Gaalis. I think it is unnecessary and that is not the kind of behaviour one expects to see on TV.
I would love to hear your views :)
