Sometimes when one is deprived of love and affection you think anyone who pays you a little extra attention loves you and vice versa. I think this is the case with Rashmi, she is vulnerable and thought just because arhaan is supporting her and gives her attention( i think he figured that it is very easy to dupe her and get her money) he is good for her.
