Paras could have been in place of asim

Asim went against bully Shukla and earned lots of fans. Earlier asim had very few supporters.

Now paras shot himself in the foot by changing his game of being against Sid. If he had been against Sid he would have been the 1st runner up.

Only Mahira got the benefit of being a Shukli .

If paras had been against Sid.....he would have been 1st runner-up or may have beaten Shukla .....

Asim took the opportunity and did wonderfully for himself.

Yes! If he had kept his foul mouth in check and worked on the more humorous side , played without Mahira being his handicap and stood against Sid...he would have been in top 3 for sure. But I think he switched as he could not stand up to Sid anymore and with the Rashmi bashing and Sid praising during the weekends...he started to doubt his game plan.

I think Paras likeability factor is a little less specially coz of his style of talking. Also he would have still majorly spoilt his game by being the bodyguard of Mahira...

Paras and Asim have very different personalities.

After his fight with Asim where he mocked Asim for staying in a rented flat without a cook and all..Paras comes out looking extemely arrogant..while people started sympathizing with middle class struggler Asim.

The fact is that Asim is way richer than Paras which he later admitted to Himanshi while explaining his huge mansions with extensive gardens. He just smartly kept his mouth shut while Paras bragged.

Asim's killer looks and physique also give him an edge over Paras. Paras thinks he is smart and he understands the game but Asim is actually smart as he knows when to excercise restraint to gain sympathy.

So no way could Paras have toppled over Asim. Asim is very shrewd.

That's the nature of the game. 2 strong contenders should never be together. Only one of them will win!!! If they were against each other then the better of the 2 would have won (at least in the eyes of the public) and Shukla can't be better than any one. I don't believe so.

Right! SId always needed a side-kick and after Asim broke off ties... he missed having a solid chela. Sana was never a constant and Paras filled in that position perfectly and how - ever supportive, never questioning and always following all Sid's cues.
