When I restarted watching this season again as a RaSim shipper I always knew their bond is based on "Dushman ka dushman Dost" idiom. This line holds what they really were initially. But with time passing on I did feel they bonded genuine organically even though I could notice it Rashmi puts uch more effort in their friendship than Asim does but it was acceptable to an extent. But I realised it with time he doesn't feel the same way & consider her a friend the way Rashmi does. It was more like friendship of convenience from his side. His lack of support, care and concern & being vocal to defend her in her fights could be seen clearly since last few weeks. RaSim was an illusion, it only existed from Rashmi's side. It's always been one-sided bond. Asim never considered Rashmi his 1st priority (after HK) be it as a friend or from game point of view. Even I exclude everything, Rashmi is accused by his fans Rashmi never defends or listens to people bitching Asim out which ain't true she defended him just few days ago when Aarti said she doesn't see Asim making it to Top 4 and even if she listens silently she doesn't say a word against Asim or adds his inputs or reacts or nods her head unlike Asim who never leaves a chance to actively participate in bitching sessions of Rashmi be it with HK, Vishal or today with Aarti & adds his own negative opinions on Rashmi too each and everytime. He keeps backbiting about her all the time yet he's completely unapologetic about it. Rashmi despite being hurt didn't notice or gave a free-pass despite seeing Asim her so-called well-wisher bitching about her right infront of her eyes & today he clearly directed at Rashmi "apni asli rang dikha rahe hein". No genuine would ever think of or say such lines for someone he/she considers a true friend, no matter how angry and disappointed you are with that friend. Waise asli rang toh sabne tera dekh liya ever since Sana came on your side for a while especially it came out in open when 🐸 came inside the house.
Rashmi has supported him even from game point of view. Be it breaking her skull last week and choosing him as the biggest threat, taking Asim's name for both 30 & 15 minutes in that screentime ranking task, he didn't do any of those things. Today Rashmi & Asim's common rival Siddharth didn't even take Rashmi's name in Top 5 yet Asim kept him at no.2 above Rashmi. Isn't natural to feel hurt? So she repaid it back this time by giving him 4th place but he gets hurt or angry with Rashmi's ranking. LOL. I mean what kinda double standards and expectations is this and Asim has from him. This is probably the first time Rashmi did this otherwise she's always said even behind his back she wants Asim to win and sees him in Top 2. I can bet Rashmi would've taken hers and Asim's name in Top 2 had Asim done the same like SidNaaz did. And he keeps inclining to new people time to time from Shefali to Sana to now Aarti since last few days.
Asim used her in a big big way. He's a fake friend of Rashmi. Period.
