You guys are seriously dumb if you think this trend wasn’t reached by Pr activity (bots). I’ve worked for Twitter Canada so I know how things work, yeah there is no denying that there are some genuine fans who have been part of this trend but also the fact that it was artificially boosted. Anyone can use a networks of bots - automated accounts which are programmed to shoot out a stream of messages at a particular time.
