So we all saw the conversation yesterday where Himanshi is talking about Rashami to Vishal and Asim. I see a lot of people strongly bashing Asim for it and that surprises me on several levels. First it is VERY apparent that Himanshi is trying to manipulate him (she respects Umar’s wishes when he told her not to confess but not when he told her to not affect the ViRaSim bond) and I hate that Asim fell for it. He did try to stop the conversation initially but here he is sitting with someone who is sent in as a connection to advice him and whom he loves, adores and trusts completely (how I wish that wasn’t the case!). Vishal too is a good friend and hence it is not like he is listen ining to people who have bad intent for Rashami bitching her out. These three ViRaSim might share a bond and of course they are bound to have some doubts about some of the things that they do and here we saw that. They are bound to feel something when they feel like they aren’t being supported the way they want to be. I love Asim so I really wish that he wasn’t manipulated into doing that but it is clearly not as bad as the stans are making it out to be!. I am sure Rashami too has doubts about Asim and Vishal and of Devo was a bad connection like someone else and told her something maybe we would have heard it and that would have been ok! Because friends have doubts but that does not make their entire friendship void.
another thing people question is why Asim likes Vishal as apparently Vishal has done ‘nothing’ for Asim. Sometimes you just bond with someone and don’t need them to do anything. To suggest that we should only love those people who do something for us is rather silly. They clearly have a great brotherly bond.
You hail Devo as Rashami’s one true friend but she has gone against Rashami numerous times during the game, involved in strategizing against her and even flirted openly with someone who openly mistreats her. She came outside and often tweeted against her and her last visit she insinuated that she is faking this entire angle with Arhaan. She is given a clean pass now but Asim can’t be a true friend who just voiced a doubt only once but still always staunchly supports her. Why the double standard?
Asim holding that opinion does not mean he does not care for Rashami or will not stand for her and be her friend. It does not nullify his concern and friendship for her and I am shocked to see some people declare things as so black and white. Shades of grey, my friends!. Life doesn’t work like that. Rashami too said Asim pushed first ad I expect maturity from you Shukla kinda insinuating to someone who hates and bullies Asim that she doesn’t expect the same from him. But afterwards we saw her concern and friendship for Asim so it wasn’t like that and friends have ups and downs but the downs don’t nullify the love and support. That one moment should not lead to Asim’s friendship being labeled as dikhaawa as we need to grow up people! Let’s rise above over reactions and hyperbole
I love Asim so much and want him to win. I also really like Rashami and respect her. And I really really want Colors to stop giving so much screen time to Himanshi when we clearly tune in for other people!. If we wanted her there, we wouldn’t have voted her out. But I get it they paid big bucks for her and want to get their money’s worth.
