Whats fixed deposit in this context? Like a doormat? Doormat is when ppl step on you and you dont say anything. FD is your valuable money left untouched in bank for few years. Does Asim mean Aarti is Sid's valuable partner whom he hasnt given bhav in BB?

What is derogatory about being called a fixed deposit.In financial terms it is something which the owner depends on for steady returns with minimum risk and in this context it can only mean ,someone on whom Sid can depend upon for steady support.

Enlighten me if sonething is derogatory about it.
