Earlier during the fight in the kitchen when Asim urged Paras to help Rashmi..she handled it well. She knew Asim was taking it further unnecessarily but she spoke for him a couple of times..once to Paras and later to Shukla
Later during the merry go round thing...Asim said Vishal didnt get up.He was wrong. (But then it would be fair to say he gets a go at being unfair as a sanchalak since Shuklis didnt mind Paras's unfair sachalakhood and since the whole game has been unfair maybe for once Asim felt like having a say in something ). Shukla came close to asim and started his usual shit. Yelling in the face...spitting...abusing his parents. Rashmi goes to Shukla in a while and says " on a personal level I expect maturity from you..dont push ". Very disappointing. She let Asim down. I sort of get why she did it. Knowing Asim took a wrong decision made her nervous. She wanted to say he was wrong but saying that aloud would have given Shuklis more encouragement. If she kept quiet she d be blamed by Salman later on. So I get her dilemma. But there was no need for her to be mellow to Siddarth after he abused Asim's parents and pushed him. That was instigation and gave her enough reason to stand her ground. She should have been firm and unfriendly instead of acting the way she did . On a personal level? Honey theres no personal level once the guy calls you a sl ut and refuses to apologise. You need to wake up and stop being a mini Arti. She let herself down too and played right into the hands of people who call her 'dogli'. Shes not dogli but her inability to be firm when she needs to be makes her come off as dogli. Asim was upset with her and i can tell he thinks she is trying to play safe. For her own sake she should stop acting nice to people who have degraded her throughout the show ,Shukla and Paras. If you dont want to fight ,dont. But you can always be cold. And maintain your stand subtly.
Maybe she panics seeing physical confrontations ,after suffering an abusive marriage and things like that. I hope she picks up and stops being mellow with people who had been abusive towards her. Sometimes theres a thin line between being a hypocrite and looking like a hypocrite. Rashmi is dangerously close to that . She needs to be firm without getting confused or being nervous..otherwise ..a crack in Rasim is almost here.
