Ready to get bashed for holding an unpopular opinion..but Aarti has grown on me.
Now that she has calmed down and does'nt make extra efforts to be seen by forcefully trying to make a good impression, she is actually shining.
She has a very positive and soothing vibe. The only sane and balanced contestant in the house. No violence, gaali-galoch..the lady does'nt hold any ill-will or malice towards anyone. You hurt her and she's back to cajoling you when you are down. Cooks with love, and tries to reconcile differences.
She forced Paras to 'manao' Mahira when she was left crying by him on the the bathroom couch. She also told him that it was wrong of him to call her brother 'nalla pao' and not to involve family in personal fights. She tries to pacify and mend the rifts between Sana and Sid too.
Call her Abdulla or what, she takes all the name calling and leg-pulling sportingly. Even during the Comedy night task, she was the only one who resorted to 'self-depracating' form of humour instead of targeting and offending others. 'Mein khud ki bajaungi' is what she told Harsh while preparing her comedy script and her act was indeed one of the best.
She represented Sana's case for Elite club task and put her points across very well. Even in front of Salman, she defended Sana by calling her possessesive and not jealous clearing the air.
By raising her voice against Sid and sticking to her decision for the kurkure task, she inadvertantly removed that 'door-mat' tag sticking to her right from the beginning.
Never thought I would root for Aarti..but as they say nothings impossible.
Go Abdulla go...
