The victim blaming is reaching dangerous levels now

Hundreds of Asim/Rashmi/Sana fans are saying that Sana brought Shukla's behavior on herself with the way she behaves. Its totally true that she acts like a doormat and respect should be commanded BUT does that excuse the perpetrator of the crime/rule breaking act he committed?

Even my favorite BB contestant of all time, Gauahar is insinuating Sana's side of the blame:

Broke my heart seeing this lopsided mentality of so many people.

Shukla commits violence = because Asim provoked him

Shukla makes misogynistic comments = Rashmi brought out their past

Shukla physically overpowers/manhandles Sana = Sana's behavior allows Shukla's behavior

Thoughts? Personally, I think all this victim-blaming is truly setting a very worrisome tone for future seasons. What do you guys think?

I agree this is victim blaming once again. Same people use the short dress example to justify rape

Gauhar is not defending bhalu, she is only dragging shehnaaz as equally responsible which is true.

Yes. Discrediting the victim is their only defense.

Firstly he is wrong. If he can threaten and be violent in front of so many cameras, what is he capable of in private. Just because Sana did not protest, does that mean we should condone what we can see and hear ourselves, then shame on all the ‘apologists’. He is a f*cking 40 year old man. He should know how far to take a joke and when to quit. Regardless of what interaction they had earlier in the day, the B*stard should listen when someone says enough is enough. Bdsm participants have a safe word. Sana was screaming for him to stop but he kept on prodding.

Just the mere mention of Rashmi’s name brought out this violent reaction and arseholes are talking about this being a small Clio that’s out of context.

No wonder Eve teasing, acid attacks and rape is out of hand in India. Wake up arseholes who are demanding apology for this arsehole. The nirbhaya case has reached a sentencing verdict. Go refresh yourselves on it. Chapaak has s releasing soon .....go educate yourselves on arseholes like that and see if an apology will make a difference to those girls’ lives.

Gauhar’s false equivalency is defense of Shukla.

Listen dear Shukla is wrong we all know that. The minute he gets questioned on it by BB. Sana will be his biggest defender saying she was OK with it. Hence we are blaming both equally. Sana is also at fault shes complacent and normalized to this behaviour. And if one day she wakes up and says enough is enough im NOT OK then that’s a whole different story.

On this case if sana doesn’t complain how would one know how badly she is hurt. She goes back to like it was done in masti.

What I find in sana that she just doesn’t care of anything. This kinda attitude is good only when someone is bad mouthing you. But she doesn’t care what goes around. Some people like this attitude that she didn’t complain when she got hurt during basket task. But the prob is she never complains abt anything. When shefali talked abt her character, she was upset and on wkv when sallu brought that mudda, she was like leave it sir we forgave each other. I liked her that time that she doesn’t make a big issue for the sake of footage. But you have to raise your voice if there is anything nonsense going on around coz that’s the only way society will change for good reasons. And shefali told her the same thing that take a right stand where you need.
