The BIAS of channel & Host!

I do watch Big Brother US/UK/Australia along with Bigg Boss... and the single major difference between the original format & the Indianian format is interference by host! Even in Bigg Boss season 1 Arshad Warshi stuck to the concept but Salman Khan not only shows his Favorites but changes people the way he wants them to.

The contestants are contract bound & adheres sadly and what we get is not reality show but saas-bahu serial these days! 🤢

This forum clearly likes Asim/Koena and disliking Shehnaaz/Abu/the bahus but the same is not reflected in the show.

Salman & Endemol are clearly favouring these people because they are COLORS contract bound & their future income percentage will come to their pockets!

So whatever our likings are the people doing forward are : Rashmi/ Sid Shukla/ Sid Dey/ Aarti/ Devoleena/ Daljeet/ Abu / Shehnaaz!

SAD!!

Koena's case is an exception! I don't think the viewers had any expectations of her and I am sure the makers had no idea that she would become so popular when the season started. Also her popularity is not just restricted to IF but its consistent across all SM platforms. All we can hope if for the makers to recognize it and give Koena her due.

I have seen all seasons of Big Brother US & UK (UK one sucks & worse than our BB, hence got cancelled). But manipulation & interference happens in EVERY reality shows.

On BB India, the host interferes & dictates (indirectly) to the HMs on how to perform/what to do. On BB US, the producers do it through their diary room conversations (many contestants have confirmed the same).

Even in BB US, a lot of competitions & twists are manipulated by producers to save their favorites (who provides more drama). So every reality shows in the world is highly manipulated & has producer's interference.. because makers wants to have control over the show to suit TRP ratings.

Wow cool.... to the point answer. I agree with all although its opposing my points. In answer to your points why cant BB diary room or confession room do the same what Salman does? Because I feel the duty of host is to be unbiased...that hurts. Based on TRP they can manipulate I agree... its their money after all.

Off course the channel will manipulate to make it interesting & to keep the viewers hooked for TRP; bcoz they are spending the money & they invest to make profit. It's no charity.

Everything is for the viewers and of course sometimes they get it wrong & mess up but when they get it right, it's interesting for viewers & they make money.

The very basic reason for Salman khan coming every weekend is the target audience or market for Big Brother India ( Bigg Boss ) is a lot different. In India, there are tv censors, so they can't let anything and everything happen. Salman khan brings in TRP, Money to makers of the show and to the channel. I am sure he won't be coming every weekend to play games and not to talk of things happened,

We must also note here, People don't change as Salman ask them to, It's Editing which is done in a way to show things that way. No one is being favored, everyone gets to hear from Salman but not everything is shown to us. It's just been 8 days, should wait for a month and little more to see if they are biased. Manipulation takes place from Day 1, Just look at how teams were divided for the task and how certain people were pitched against obvious people.

This forum is like 20 people. Hardly a representation of who people like and who they don't.

Let's take Koena for example. She seems bitter AF. Neither is she entertaining nor is she a strong contender whose been able to connect with others to escape nomination. All she does is give out gyan which no one cares about. Seems to have some serious issues against men in general.

Neither the fans nor the channel will be interested in keeping her.

Shehnaz is annoying and obviously she's faking her whole persona inspired by Geet(JWM) but she has so many things going for her. She's providing entertainment, fake as it may be. She has made strong connections and she's been at the centre of the narrative every single episode. She might have tons of haters but she'll gain a lot of fans as well and it's those fans that will keep voting for her.
