Most of us here have a favorite in BBH. But what makes you like (or even dislike) that specific person? Do you like the character traits because it matches yours or you wish you could handle yourself in the same way they have?

People usually choose favorites based on their own identity. They recognize themselves in the behavior. Does your character / style matches your favorite's?

Good question. I have thought about this few times myself.
My favorite is Dipika but my personality is a mix of KV and Dipika. Friendly and too nice/diplomatic like KV and I wish sometimes I could answer people like Dipika. May be that's why she is my favorite 😆

I relate to her in terms of strength and will to fight. I can read people very well too.

My fave is KV and Romil.
But m not intelligent like Romil, thoda tubelight hu.
And I m also very particular about the way I dress and look.
And m too diplomatic.
I m mostly like KV . I don't have leader like qualities but m kind hearted. But unlike him, I don't blindly believe in people .kV is very gullible .sahi-galat ki Pehchan nai hai usme

Sristy was my fav this season. I have seen many serials but Sristy's serial was the first one I have seen when I started becoming mature and understand the shows. And I liked her show a lot. When I got to know she was coming to Bigg boss, I was glad and thinking to support her. In the first two weeks, I thought she might be fake and acting like Hina and be the mean type girls but I was wrong. She was aggresive at times but overall very cute and entertaining. I enjoyed her scenes in extra dose. Moreover she was sidelined by the celeb girls(Dipika n Neha) and she said that she takes time to get along. I actually loved her bonding with KV n Sree though later Sree became close with Dipika. She was actually not bad at heart and sadly audience misunderstood her just because she doesnt like Dipika(same happened with Lopa as she disliked Bani) She was the first one who got along with the commoners and treated them equally. She felt really bad when she told Shiv to destroy his things and stopped him from doing it. Though I really like Rohit, but he has ruined Sristy's game by following behind her which is kinda true. Sadly her journey came to an end too early.

Good that you made a topic about it, was thinking to ask the same, also is it driven by monetary considerations too?

For me, I am not an over supporter till I find some intense negative character doing serious damage, anyone standing against that perpetrator becomes my favourite. Started supporting Sree overtly only after Surabhi and Romil attacked him in packs, started supporting Shilpa after Gupta's midnight kaand in which Hina was an active participant.

I don't have a fav this year. But last year my fav was Shilpa. I did some Twitter stuff also for her which is a big deal for me cuz I've never been that invested in any celeb in BB.

Anyway so what I liked about her was that she was genuine in the show. When she cared about people she did a lot for them. If she didn't like something about someone, even if they were close to her, she would say it on their face. This cost her a lot of relationships. And she wasn't afraid to play alone. She was hurt by vikas Gupta and did whatever she could to get back at him but once he apologized, she let it go. I thought that was really genuine. Not for the game. In fact she did nothing for the game at all. It's the others who cornered her and made people sympathetic towards her. I loved how hardworking she was too. She worked all the time ...mostly in kitchen but even otherwise we hardly saw her lounging about.

I think I find qualities like playing alone, beaing straightforward, being genuine similar to me. I wish I was that hardworking. Having said that, she had many bad qualities too, biggest of all that she was regressive in her thinking. I'm not like that at all and even some biases which creep in naturally, I try to move past them. Also I'm a lot misunderstood like her 😃

My fav is KV, I am exactly like KV how it is in the show. But the only difference is I have learnt not to allow anybody to put me down or insult me. I believe self respect is much needed but that trait I learnt slowly, I used to be like KV, anybody could walk all over. Transparent and simple, no schemer, not to put down others, and respect others. Now I learnt to safeguard myself. I like KV's patience, I would not have taken so much sham from Sree or Salman Khan, I would have lost my temper.

I guess you answered on my behalf too because Shilpa is the only contestant, I got so emotionally involved with myself.I cried watching her work while the others were enjoying their time and those ungrateful others then kept harassing her instead of appreciating her endevours.

I loved Shilpa for being extemely hard-working which I also wish I was myself. Other then that I too consider her to be sympathetic genuine straightforward and a lone ranger like me.

She however lacked things like the ability to put one's thoughts across clearly and having a patriarchal mind-set but thats because of up-bringing and not on how the person inherently is.

I'm a mix of Romil, Dipika and KV

Romil - I'm lazy, but I use my mind really well. For me I'd rather youse brain over brawn.

Dipika - I'm known to be a great speaker and debater. Once I stand for something because I think it's right, I will fight tooth and nail to prove it.

KV - I'm very trusting and gullible. But I'm a little different because I figure out soon, and will never associate with those people the same way.
