Romil had always been a mystery. I did not strongly dislike him but also did not like him much. But recently I have started seeing him positively and hence decided to analyze his BB journey till date. I have divided Romil's journey in 4 innings.

PS : It's going to be long post but please do read it.

1st Innings.

Romil came in along with his best friend. This show was a golden chance for him to come on TV and he did not want to lose any chance.

In the first week when he entered , He was besotted with all the celebrities and he befriended all of them , with Sree and KV becoming his bestie. He knew the games nature, so he ensured that he took part in all the fights and arguments which took place in the house and kept throwing his input everywhere, which did show his interest and reflected his smartness.

He and his friend came into limelight the 2nd week during The Pirate task - the first torture task in which the commoners and celebrities were pitted against each other brutally to make them sheer enemies by the end of the task in which BB became successful.

Romil and his friend used a strategy which made Celebs lose their contestant - Dipika. Celebs were angered as it was the result of the task well done by one of their close friends , Romil and they did not expect a friend to be against them specially being so brutal. Sreesanth - Romils close friend was more angered as the person whom Romil attacked in the task was - Dipika, another close friend of his.

All the celebs in their hurt together accused Romil and his partner and the Duo could do nothing but argue in defense making them more angry. They named him as the villain of the house and the Commoners followed suit as they got an Easy Scapegoat among themselves giving us a scenario that the whole house is against them.

The Duo got evicted that week but BB had seen potential in Romil in his 2 weeks stay and they decided to retain him by bringing in a twist.

Romil re- entered the BB house with a new partner , Surbhi hence starting his 2nd innings.

Romil's 2nd Innings

When Romil re-entered with a new partner , although he was confused with the part as where did he go wrong but still was happy that he got a 2nd chance to be in the house and he decided to make the most out of it.

When he re-entered there were 2 things which he needed to understand :

1) His partner and

2) His game

The commoners welcomed him as they knew in their hearts that he was a strong contestant and would help them immensely in winning tasks but Celebs were still angry on him due to the task specially Sreesanth whom he admired and was most close to. Sreesanth snubbed him and Romil was giving it back with proper reaaonings angering Sreesanth more and Daggers were drawn between once good friends - Sreesanth and Romil.

Romil realized his partner was Explosive, so he took a backseat and started observing everybody .

He understood that for sometimes atleast the concept of Commoners Vs Celebrities would exist and due to tasks and fuelling of Salman in WKV that division was already formed in the house and hence he decided not to make any amends with the celebrity team . He decided to raise another barrier between the whole house before BB broke his barrier and he successfully achieved that goal by creating HC and WP.

HC - Group of strong players and the ones who made the most noise in the house.

WP - whoever were left joined this group.

During this observation period he realized who were strong players in his Commoners group. He slowly and steadily started getting them under his wings. The Horse task was a crucial game which cleared lots of faces.

In this task he realized that Shiv, Saurabh, Urvashi were from the celebs group whereas from Anup ji and Jasleen - Anup ji was waste and Jasleen had become confused due to the googly of secret room thrown at her making her confused about her loyalty to be in which group, thus breaking herself from both the group and asking her own rights.

He also realized that Celebs did have fan vote but they did not have any strategy , nor unity, nor did they use much of their brains and determination to win any task.

And Although he did not speak to the Celebs team much but he had everybody's information thanks to Deepak, Saba - Somi's source Shristi which helped him make proper strategies and become the Head of HC.

There were only 4 to 5 players in the whole house who were playing and they were all from the commoners group. He decided to get them under his wings and made his first attempt in the Horse Task where he proposed to make Saba-Somi , Captain and later on even argued with Jasleen with strong points hence gaining the duo's trust.

Deepak was already close to Surbhi due to his constant friction with his own partner, Urvashi. He got him also under his wings by advising him and since the strategy was working Deepak started leaning towards him more and more for advice hence losing his own mind and game.

He always supported the group in their fights against Celebrities specially against Sreesanth as he was himself vindictive with Sreesanth due to the fight which they had after the Pirates task.

But he ensured one thing , he never fell prey to stooping low which his other team members went. He in a light way used to say that they were going wrong but never did firmly try to stop them from falling low. He very cleverly used to appear good and also make himself clear from the blame game that he did not try to stop his friends from doing wrong.

He sat back and made strategies and helped his team win the task. He never did ask for any favours unlike others hence gaining respect in his teams eyes that he was so selfless.

This was the time when tides were favourable for HC the most due to their zeal to perform in tasks and win them and although he always stayed in the background , he made the highest noise as he made the biggest Shots.

Romil's 3rd innings

With the entry of Wild Cards began the journey of Romil's 3rd innings in the BB house.

Till now there was nobody to match his smartness with patience in the house (Dipika has both the traits but remember she was lost in the house until Megha, Vikas and all came during Diwali week) but then came Megha, a Marathi season winner. Her words did show her smartness and her enthusiasm in tasks reflected her strength as a contestant.

Romil tried getting Megha in HC who was also eager to join this club as it was the strong club but then there was a problem, Megha wanted to be the Captain of the Club. It obviously did not go down well with Romil who had built HC with lots of hard work and was the head of the team, he cancelled the deal.

In the meantime, he saw through Megha's weakness - getting agitated at little words. He decided to use this weapon against her. Remember in the earlier days it was Romil who made the highest fun of Megha and her winning trophy and not Deepak. Rest of them had fun and followed suit to irritate the hell out of Megha . He made fun of her and reduced Megha's image into a clown from a strong player. Brilliant stroke I guess.

Rohit , he realized was a dumb person and was on their side as he had also seen things from outside and knew that this team was a strong team, so it did not effect him much on what he did and where he did.

How opportunistic and smart he is can be understood by the very fact, that he gauzed from WKV that Surbhi and Deepak was becoming popular as Salman asked their opinions and all other HM's only spoke about these 2.

Deepak had also suddenly started gaining lots of positive attention and popularity due to his sudden love angle he created between himself and Somi and hence Romil started looking ways to get himself into the limelight and BB gave him that opportunity soon.

The week of Family's message came and he very cleverly played the game of having a big heart and sacrificed his chance for Somi stating she needed it more and he would fall weak, if he saw his child when nothing that sort happened when he met his child in person.

His strategy worked and he became the topic of discussion and his effort was appreciated by Salman in the WKV and rewarded by BB too.

This was also the time when he had started bonding with the other group as he now understood that his game was now being overshadowed by Surbhi and Deepak, and he wanted to break free from them. And hence began Romil's 4th innings in the BB house.

You have done an amazing job of explaining each part of Romil's journey, yeah I agree that, he is a mystery and I have never disliked him, but he was never my favourite, all of his moves are so subtle that ,you never know what is going on in his mind

Romils 4th innings in BB house

After the Diwali week, Sreesanth and Jasleen were pitted against each other for captaincy task and as everybody in HC did not like Jasleen, they decided to vote for Sree and Romil who had not forgiven Sree for his 1st weeks act and after that so many things happened between him and Sree was reluctant but still being the head of the group , and to maintain the unity in the team as he had yet not bonded much with the other group reluctantly decided to vote for Sree.

But Romil never knew that he will be rewarded so well for voting for Sree.

Sree was given a power which he used to nominate entire HC due to which the group went berserk and touched a new level of low specially Surbhi and Deepak who went personal with Jasleen and termed her as gold digger.

During this time Romil showed himself great by once again acting to trying to stop Surbhi and Deepak but not actually meaning to.

By the end of the week, Surbhi who was agitated and nervous due to WKV eviction next day, fought with him for no reason and he immediately took the opportunity to severed ties with her, but still ensured that it's not him who should look bad , knowing Surbhi he only sat back and enjoyed while Surbhi did all the talking. He also advised her during next task but I guess that character assassination of his has gone too far and now he doesn't want to put up an act of being nice with Surbhi.

The very next week , Deepak was given breaking news task where he crossed his line and the way Salman took his class clearly revealed Deepak's image in audience eyes. Now Romil decided to steer away from him also as he did not want to look bad in audience eyes as the game is nearing it's end and at this time ones individual game as well as their positive image is crucial in getting votes of audience as well as BB favours.

He started sitting with Sree, Dipika, Megha, Jasleen and Soni and started opening Surbhi's and Deepak's secrets and strategies and helping them in winning the game thus showing people what a brilliant player he is.

He once again tried his old trick of gaining trust which was to pitch for somebody else's captaincy . He said Rohit - " if they all vote for Dipika's captaincy he would let go of his captaincy ." Thus gaining Sree's and Dipika's trust.

The irony was Dipika became the reason of fight between Sree and Romil and she herself became the reason for patch up also.

Secondly, He needed to rinse the negative image which he had made about himself by leading HC and what better time than now and yesterday when he got the opportunity he did so well by standing with Sree and crying for him.

I felt his emotions genuine but tears fake as Romil is the only one who has expressed his love for cricket genuinely time to time. He really admires Sreesanth for his cricket and seeing him in a pathetic state must be so heartbreaking for a fan as well as human who was living with him.

What other shades he will Show himself In the coming 4 weeks is to be seen but,

I must say that Romil has played his game brilliantly and deserves every bit of that trophy as he has built his game and fans from the scratch.

And thus I end analysis of Romils journey in BB house here.

Great analysis 👏 I disagree with most of your analysis but just wanted to congratulate you for your analysis. Everything is a matter of perspective. What appears negative to you appears positive to me, and vice versa. But I respect your opinion as all of us are different individuals.

I feel Romil's strengths are: making friends easily, leadership qualities, reading between the lines, being empathetic, motivating people and keep people around him smiling. He used these qualities to build his Happy Club.

I feel Romil's weaknesses are: his ghamand, and sometimes his zidd. These qualities gave Deepak, Surbhi, and Rohit the opportunity to backstab him and also severe his ties with Somi.
