Anup Jalota is 37 years older than his live in girlfriend, Jasleen Matharu. In 9 years his age will be exactly double of her age at that time. Find out their current ages.
Let Anup Jalota's current age be AJ and his girlfriend's current age be JM.
So we know that

1. AJ = JM + 37
Also

2. AJ+9 = 2(JM+9)
But we already know AJ=JM+37

So,
JM+37+9 = 2JM + 18

OR
2JM-JM = 37+9-18

OR JM = 28
Thus AJ = 28+37 = 65
