It looks so cheap of them comnenting on a person's eating habits. Common.. every persons appetite is different. Ganesh works out a lot and he feels hungry often. What is their problem? If vaiyapuri doesnt want to eat let him not eat! If they have so much dearth for food why dont they tell him on his face.
Looks extremely boring and stale when they talk about the same eating habits.

Prashanth Rangaswamy, a media person, has tweeed that Oviya is off to some abroad country for a much needed rest.
My hope to see Oviya back in BB govindha va😭

In todays show, I was imagining like "iindha situation la Oviya epdi irundhrupa, saree la dress washing appo epdi pesirpa etc.. " Missing all her counters very badly..

Solren-nu thappa eduthukka vendaam.

At least we should realize this. Actress gets paid for appearance in BB. Spends a few weeks, with the emotional roller coasters. Pulled out of the show. Now off on an airplane to a foreign location for a "much needed rest" after being paid for 5 weeks in the show.

They do have a reasonably good life and far more amenities than the average middle-class person (leave aside the poor). They are more than capable of handling their love affairs and other issues that come up when living in that lifestyle. I don't think even they want (nor expect) thousands of people worrying and fretting about some entertainment guy dumping her after a couple of weeks of fling affair. They themselves can brush it aside after the foreign vacation and move on (or get back with each other in the relationship). Entirely manageable by them and I think I can go about worrying about real things that happen in my real life.

Reel life heroes and heroines can handle their reel and real lives. That's all I want to say about it.

If suncloud or ramyvijay were to slog for a few days and not able to eat properly or sleep properly, maybe our parents or hubby/.. may worry and enquire about us. I don't think the heroines nor strangers are gonna go "oh poor baby, paavam suncloud/ramyvijay, seriya kooda saapidalai, thoongalai" lol :)

I think celebrities are living their life their way. But people seem to be attempting to virtually be a family to the celebrities and living (virtually) with them :) That's actually interesting phenomenon. Not sure if that's a bit more specific to Tamil / Indian cinema folks...

The Big Brother show (thats the name) happened in Western countries too. People watched it as entertainment reality show. I don't think people got so emotionally attached to the contestants, if memory serves correctly.

Right pathi solradhukku onnume illai. Ofcourse full rights irukku to do whatever you want. If a person does unna viradham or sleepless for sake of celebrities - then also they have full right , if they want to do that.

This is not at all a question of rights. Fans do all kinds of things for 'thalaivar'/heroes. They have full right to do it (as long as it is not disturbing other people). So yes, you have all the rights. This is a discussion forum, and hence discussing, that's all. That is our discussing right :)

Somehow in India, fans get over attached to cine personalities, and it becomes a cult thing. I am not saying that its right or wrong. Everyone has the right to do what they want, and I agree to the rights. I am merely wondering about that. How come they get so 'devotional' (if thats the right word) towards cine personalities.

I guess that's why cine personalities (once their acting career is over) - look to politics in India, even if they know nothing much about politics/welfare-of-people since it is an open career with people ready to accept them. (referring to talks of various "thalaivaa neenga arasiyal vaanga thalaiva" like we sometimes hear)

sevenstreaks,
I am not specifically talking about fandom here (in IndiaForums) in my last couple posts. Just in general.

Today when shakthi was calling ganesh a saambrani, I felt angry at him for calling his friend names. But I also realized that I have judged ganesh as slow too for his lack of analytical skills.
His lack of understanding and his "I cannot still understand " answers to KH felt irritating but today I realize how wrong it is to be so.

Ganesh us no Einstein. But I don't think that is enough reason to feel irritated with him. He is like so many of us trying to adjust and learn. He takes so much effort. The shortcuts to win tasks, it does not strike him. He takes the given route and meanders until he does what is needed.
However, he us sportive, fair, does not shy from apologizing for his mistakes.
He is so much better than a lot of other contestants. Nit being smart is not his mistake.

When people like shakti, aarav can survive BB, I think Ganesh deserves to survive better than them.

I wont feel irritated with him going forward. He is being himself, just that his true self may not be very interesting to a lot of people. You go Ganesh ⭐️

Sorry to say but commenting on someone's eating habit is really bad. G cannot loose his muscle just to stay in the show. It is super irritating to see promo. Didn't watch the episode.

I think TRP was contributed by Julie, Oviya and Gayu combo.
Does anyone know how much does KH get paid for his weekend visits ?
Just curious

SunCloud I have reduced my involvement with the show.I think your point is valid to some extent.
At the same time you shouldn't keep pestering people with your views. I think it is the only low cost entertainment for people since most youth don't watch serials.
You need to take a step back and allow people to wallow about the absence of O. It will be a week people will get over it.
