She already knows about him - even when he said let's be friends, she didn't seem hurt at all ...so she is aware that he's only using her popularity for his own benefit.

That's why she seemed distracted in the Sunday show & didn't even read her card with Shakti's name, so she wasn't prepared with her act. Before the elimination also, while chatting with Raiza & Aarav, in response to Raiza's comment about her boyfriend, Oviya reassured her telling , don't worry, you have other options -- [meaning Aarav as mentioned in the updates].

That's why her actions in today's episode come as a disappointment, shock because there was absolutely no need for all that ...

@raindrop, i completely agree with you.. but still, knowing that a person don't love us is different from seeing directly the person whom we love telling " loosu, 2 days la yaarukaavadhu love varuma, saying no I don't love her,etc" in my pov... Nammala pathi oruthar thappa pesuradha direct a paakumpodhu ( especially for a person who never backbites)adhu romba kashtama irukum nu nenaikren...

Can I ask all of you folks a question - hope neenga thappa ninaikka maateenga.

I too like Oviya and she is generally a good person.
But this is just a TV show. Why are all of you so emotionally attached to this show, that you keep thinking so much about this show even after the 9pm TV slot is over. Just show paarunga, enjoy and take care of your personal and family life, illaya?

Naan solradhu edhaavadhu thappu irundha - please correct me.

Oviya may be a good person, but this is her battle to fight in this show. The ultimate winner is the TV channel with TRP.

If we have a personal life challenge - is Oviya or any one else going to come and solve that? It is our problem and only ours, isn't it? Then why do we spend so much of our personal time to discuss this, as though we are dealing with our own life problem, or our children's problem?

Oviya, Gaya3 and all will get their money and go on with their life after 100 days is done. We still have to lead our own personal and college/university or office lives, isn't it?

Just think for a few minutes. How much addiction the TV channel has caused and how much time and energy? Am I wrong in stating this?

I completely agree with you.

In our home we don't have cable tv and on the television only on Sat/Sun, to watch any movie which we borrow from Library. Regular life itself is so very challenging -- so just to divert mind and forget our routine issues, I come to Youtube. After few minutes of reading/posting comments, that's it -- don't discuss also with my family members. For me I started watching after Arthi's elimination weekend, just out of curiosity, stopped when they portrayed Gayatri differently and now just the very nature of humans is a revelation to me. That's all, am not a fan of anybody & nothing more of it has any relevance or substance in my life -- just a timepass.

But I do feel for the general public, who have formed such massive & pointless fan clubs and such --- just based on one's persona on the screen. Hardly any of these efforts are constructive even !!! And this Hero Worship of Film Stars & Cricket players is nothing new to our society...
