Hello everyone

Actually since BB ended, I have been really sad, which I know is silly because BB is just a show. But I guess I just got so attached to it and now I don't really have anything to look foward to on tv. In my mind, I compare the other shows to BB and I just don't find anything worth watching...So here I am attempting my first Fan-Fiction. I think I'll see now just how difficult it is to write these...

PART 1

Armaan and Bharti's wedding----> (Well this is without Omkaar...He never arrived on the scene.)

Armaan and Bharti were at the mandap to be married, the ceremony was simple and everything went according to plan. No interruptions or "apshaguns". The rituals were all completed, they exchanged garlands with each other, took the "pheras" and Armaan very lovingly applied the sindoor to Bharti's forehead. Armaan leaned towards Bharti to adorn the mangulsutra on her. As he carefully hooked the clasp together, he whispered into Bharti's ears: "Thank you Bharti, you have made me the happiest man alive". Bharti smiled her genuine sweet smile at him and they didn't break eye contact until Armaan returned to his seat next to her..

Payal: (stood between Bharti and Armaan, looked at each of them and then cleared her throat) Hogaya? Come, let everyone congratulate you...

Payal raised her eyebrows at Bharti and gestured to her to come... Bharti was thinking to herself, "Yaar, what is wrong with you? Why does that happen every time Armaan looks at you, you forget that You Are The Man!!"

Armaan: "Bharti, are you okay?"

Everyone was looking at her and waiting. Armaan was already standing near Amarjeet and the rest of the MU staff.

Amarjeet: "What happened Bharti? Are you having cold-feet?"

Bharti: "Err..No sir, I'm fine. Come, lets go eat."

Everyone went to the small reception that MU was throwing for Armaan and Bharti. Everyone ate and danced to their heart's content. Bharti forget she was expected to be the coy bride as she was suddenly in the middle of eveyone dancing with her hands in the air. But everyone just looked at her and smiled as they shook their heads. Armaan stood on the side just smiling and admiring "his Bharti"..He didn't even notice when Jiya arrived next to him and was tugging at his sleeve.

Jiya: Dada...Dada....

Jiya decided to pinch her Dada.

Armaan: "Ouch! What was that for??"

Jiya just giggled and shook her head

Jiya: "Dada... why are you standing here? Go and dance with Bharti mama"

Armaan: "Bharti mama? Since when? And did you eat your food?"

Jiya: "Don't look so surprised, you have married her, so that makes her my Bharti mama. But don't worry, I'll ask her first before I call her Bharti mama. And Dada don''t change the topic... I already ate with Bharti mama. I know you don't like dancing infront of everyone, but I'm sure you like dancing with Bharti mama...So go and dance with her! "

Armaan (blushing slightly): "Acha? And just by the way, how old are you?? Okay, okay I'll go, don't look at me with those eyes, someone will think you're my mother!"

Armaan kissed her on the forehead and walked through the crowd towards Bharti.

Armaan: (cleared his throat) Excuse me Mrs Sinha...May I have this dance?

Bharti turned around to face Armaan and realising that he had just called her "Mrs Sinha" she blushed leaving her cheeks a shade of pink much like her sari. She just smiled and nodded as everyone around them parted and formed a circle around them while whistling and clapping. As the music changed to a slow romantic song, Armaan smiled. He thought to himself that this song is so apt for him and Bharti and he slid his hand to her waist and gently pulled her closer to him. He leaned towards her and started singing along to the song in her ear...

As the song ended Bharti slowly opened her eyes and looked deep into Armaan's eyes. Armaan saw confusion in her eyes and her eyes seemed to tremble a little with fear. He loosened his grip on her and she moved backwards out of his arms.

Bharti: Excuse me for a bit, Main abhi aati hoon...

Payal saw that Bharti had suddenly gone off in the other direction and she tried to end her conversation with Jiya to go see what happened with Bharti.

Meanwhile Bharti went to the bathroom and splashed some water on her face. She felt a bit dizzy and uneasy.

Bharti: "What is happening to me?"

She put on her smile for the ladies who congratulated her before they left the bathroom.

Bharti: "Man! How long is this going to last? I am so tired of smiling at everyone.."

Bharti was adjusting her heavy sari out of irritation when she heard a man's voice saying "Congratulations"

Bharti: "Thank you, but what are you doing here? This is a ladies bathroo...KK!?!?"

KK: "Arre? Kya hua? You are also here in the ladies bathroom..Are you a lady?"

Bharti: "KK! Do you have to taunt me wherever I go? You can at least spare me in the bathroom!"

KK: "Calm down Bhaskar.. I am only here to congratulate you. You are now one step closer to becoming Bhaskar again. By the way, I would have thought you would be happy, why the uneasy look?"

Bharti: "Tumse matlab? Since when do you care..Look, I know what I have to do. I have married Armaan and once I have a baby then it's bye-bye Bharti and hello Bhaskar"

KK: "You really think that it's that simple?"

Bharti just looked at KK angrily and stormed passed him to leave the bathroom. Just as she was about to open the door KK stopped her.

KK: "Bharti, I have one more thing to tell you. Against what you may think, this won't be that simple. You have to live completely as a woman. You need to try to forget that you are Bhaskar for a while. You will have to experience all the problems of a woman and..."

Bharti: "And what have I been doing this whole time?!?"

KK: " And you need to gain all the characteristics of a woman, the strength, perseverance, love, forgiveness... everything. These characteristics will help you and make you a better person. My only advice to you is try to stay calm Bhaskar, think before you act...Oh and all the best for this journey of yours and (with a slight laugh) all the best for tonight"

Bharti: "What now?"

KK: "Bhaskar, you are a suhaagan, tonight's your suhaag raat..Don't look at me like that, this should be what you want.."

Bharti: "Aaargh!"

Bharti opened the door and stormed out bumping hard into Payal.

Payal: "Ouch!"

Bharti: "Ouch!"

Both of then were on the floor rubbing their heads.

Bharti: (looking skywards) "Do you have any more surprises?"

Payal: "What? Who are you talking to and what were you doing Bhaskar? You're not planning on running away again, are you?"

Bharti: "Of course not. I have to stick to this. It's nothing..um..it's just this heavy heavy clothing and jewelry are killing me."

Payal: (laughing) "Get used to it... Listen, there is something I need to tell you. Um, well there's this RJ program that I'll be going for... and it's for a whole month..and it's in London..and I'm leaving in 2 days... Bhaskar? Bhaskar? "

Payal shook Bharti's shoulders as she was just staring at Payal in shock.

Bharti: "Payal! Did you find no better time to do this? I mean come on yaar, how can you leave me now?"

Payal: "Oh Bhaskar, don't be so selfish. This will be good for my career and I'll be back before you know it..."

Bharti: "Oh please! You know trouble doesn't take very long to find me. I'm sure I'll have problems by tomorrow, actually I already have one tonight. What will I do without you? I'll be dead by the time you come back!"

Payal: (Hitting Bharti) "Don't say that and stop being melodramatic! I'll still speak to you, I'll help you over the phone. And look Bhaskar, you have Armaan now, I promise you, he will help you through everything..I haven't been the only one helping you this whole time, Armaan has been by your side too...(laughing) Unless you wake up as a man, then I don't think Armaan will help you much, maybe beat you out of bed..Okay sorry (holding her ears), just joking."

Bharti: "Payal..."

Just then a few ladies came and took Bharti away as it was time to go to Armaan's house.

Payal just stood there alone while a tear ran down her cheek.

Payal: "What do I tell you Bhaskar? I'm sorry, but I have to go. It's just too difficult to stay here and watch you be married to Armaan and live with him as his wife for I don't know how long... Bhaskar, I feel like you're slipping further and further away from me and I don't know if you're ever going to come back..."

Thanks for all your comments on each part, glad you liked my beginning. I will try to bring KK in more often, even though to me KK foreshadows trouble! 😆

I completely agree with you about Armaan! We always got to see what Bharti was feeling, but not so much with Armaan and his eyes always showed that he was feeling so much, but those creatives often just made him stand there saying nothing.... And I second the fact that ArBi are made for each other❤️.

It's great that you can visualize the scenes that I'm writing because when I'm writing it I try to visualize them first and then write them. Yeah Sunny is funny😆 Well we can't blame him. Armaan has a very special corner in Sunny's heart, just like in all of ours!❤️😳 I'll PM you whenever I update and thanks again for the comments😊.

The next few days passed quickly with Armaan and Bharti getting into their new routine. They left Jiya at school every morning and came to work. MU was a madhouse, even more than usual, with everyone working around the clock for the birthday issue. At home Bharti was not stressed as Armaan handled everything, he made sure the house ran smoothly. Armaan learnt his lesson and told Bharti she doesn't have to help with cooking. Once she tried to cook and they had a mini fire in the kitchen. Cooking was Armaan's forte and whenever he wanted a break, they would just eat out. It was all quite boring to Bharti, but she thought to herself boring is better than having a whole lot of problems. Because of this, she didn't have much to tell Payal, but Payal had a lot of stories to tell her. Payal was having so much fun in London and she said she had even met a cute guy. His name was Rishi and he worked in London, but he would be moving to India in two months. Bharti told her to be careful of him, but Payal just laughed her off saying that if she can handle 'Bhaskar The Man' she can handle any lady-killer.

As for Armaan and Bharti's relationship, things were going well. They were growing closer gradually. Bharti thought they would get tired of seeing each other the whole day, both at home and work, but that wasn't the case. They were so busy with their individual work that they didn't see each other that much at work and only occasionally did they have lunch together. When at home, the three of them spent as much time together as possible, but often it was just Armaan and Bharti because Jiya was busy with exams. Armaan and Bharti would spend their free time just talking, Armaan would share some of his college stories and told Bharti bits about when Jiya was a baby. Sometimes they would recall the days when Bharti had just joined MU and they would have a good laugh thinking of all the problems they had with Gyaan and Richuraa and also all the times Bharti would do something silly or clumsy.

As the days grew less to the MU birthday issue Armaan became particularly busy with the models and all the photo shoots. He would even have to work late many nights. One day Bharti was looking for Armaan to discuss the front cover and went to his studio. He was busy with a shoot, so Bharti waited and Vineeta arrived and sat next to her. Bharti wondered why she did that, as Vineeta and Bharti didn't get along that well. They just sat there and were watching Armaan, who was finishing up with his shoot. All the models were standing around Armaan as they viewed the photo's . One model in particular hung around after the others left and was going really close to Armaan. She was sitting on his chair handle and leaning in to him while occasionally putting her hands on his arms and shoulders. Bharti was shocked that she was flirting with him so blatantly. Bharti saw that Armaan was oblivious to this and he wasn't responding to the model or anything, but Bharti didn't know why, she felt this tinge inside her and she was getting really angry.

Vinita: "Darling, look at that model, she is such a flirt. Don't you get irritated at all? Or feel insecure?"

Bharti: "Huh? No, why should I get irritated, models are like that..and why should I be insecure!?"

Vinita: "Well darling..Armaan is your hubby and he spends the whole day with all those hot models . I mean, no offence, but look at the models and look at you...I mean you're not around him all the time like the models are..."

Bharti: "What rubbish! It's nothing like that, Armaan is a professional And I don't need to hover around him the whole day! Anyway they aren't that hot.."

Vineeta: "Oooh is someone a little jealous??"

Bharti: "Shut up Vineeta! You don't know what you're talking about.."

Vineeta: "Oh come on honey, start behaving like a woman. He's your husband, you should be feeling something. If it were me.."

Bharti: "Yeah, well I'm not you. (turning away from Vineeta) Sunny! Sunny! Come here. Give these to Armaan and ask him to sort out the layouts, I want to see final drafts by tomorrow!"

With that she left from there. Armaan didn't even know she was there and only heard her when she was yelling for Sunny. Armaan just saw her turn and leave. He called for her, but she didn't seem to hear him. He wondered what happened and went to Vineeta and Sunny. Vineeta shrugged and said she didn't know before leaving. Sunny gave Armaan the files and told him that Bharti wants the layouts by tomorrow. Armaan wanted to go check on Bharti, but couldn't as he had another photo shoot lined up and now he had 24 hours to work out three possible layouts. Bharti would just have to wait until later. But later never came. Armaan was busy the whole time and he had to stay at the office and work late that night for the layouts. He tried calling Bharti, but her phone was off and he had to carry on with his work.

By 3 in the morning, he was eventually done and was extremely tired. He finally got home and all he wanted to do was sleep. He went to Jiya's room and kissed her forehead before going to his room. He was surprised to find his room empty - no Bharti. He looked around and couldn't see her and the bed had not been slept in. He got a bit worried, her phone was off and he had no idea what happened. He remembered that when he last saw her, she had left the studio upset. He looked around the house and saw the balcony door open. He went outside to see Bharti just sitting on the swing looking at the sky and occasionally muttering to herself.

Armaan went closer to her and just looked at her, he was surprised to see her up so late and that too muttering to herself.

Armaan: "Bharti..."

No answer

Armaan: (moving closer)"Bharti, what are you doing up so late?"

Armaan moved to sit down next to her on the swing and looked at her. Bharti just turned her head to the other side.

Armaan: "What happened, are you okay?"

Bharti: (suddenly turned to face Armaan) What Armaan? I can't sleep, okay? That's it.

Armaan: "You can't sleep? Now that's hard to believe. What happened?"

Bharti: "Nothing Armaan. You finished work late, huh?"

Armaan: (Fake smile and sarcastic tone) "No, I was out partying. I tried calling for you to join me, but your phone was off."

Bharti: (Bharti just looked at him more angrily) Oh.

Armaan: "Bharti, what's wrong with you? You know I was working and anyway I had to finalise those three layouts for you for tomorrow..well for today."

Bharti: "Oh, so the models also worked until so late?"

Armaan: "Huh? Models? Well, Bharti..I don't know if you know this, but I'm a photographer..and I do photo shoots, so technically, models are required."

Bharti: "Stop trying to be funny."

Armaan: "Look I did the work you told me too. I am tired, my neck is killing me and I have another photo shoot tomorrow morning. I can't listen to all this now, clearly tell me what's wrong or I'm going to sleep."

Bharti: "Fine, go to sleep! Anyway you've got to work with your models tomorrow.."

Armaan suddenly realised what was going on and he couldn't help but laugh. Bharti looked at him even more angrily and asked him why he was laughing.

Armaan: "Mrs Sinha...Are you jealous?"

Bharti: (widened her eyes at him) What!? Are you mad? Me? Jealous? Of course not!"

Armaan: (smiling even wider) Bharti chill, it's only normal if you feel jealous."

Bharti:"I'm not jealous okay! Why should I be?"

Armaan: "Well...your handsome husband is surrounded by all those good-looking models all day, so.."

Bharti: "Listen Mr photographer, go flirt with your models!"

Armaan: "Me? Flirt with the models? Oh I see, you saw Monica at the photo shoot... Bharti, you know how these top models are. I just ignore her. I can't stop her or anything or else she'll throw a tantrum.."

Bharti: "Acha?! So you care so much about this Monica, huh? You know her name, what else do you know about her, her height?!"

Armaan: (grins sheepishly)"Actually I'm the photographer..so I..do know her height.."

Bharti: "Armaan!"

Armaan: (smiling)"Look, we have lots of work to do tomorrow. Go to sleep, we'll talk in the morning."

Armaan turned to go inside to sleep, while Bharti just looked at him and then turned to look at the sky. She didn't realise when Armaan came back and stood in front of her. He moved closer and closer to her and Bharti stayed extremely still. They looked into each others eyes and Armaan's face was so close to Bharti's.

Armaan: "Waise, it feels good to know you're jealous."

Armaan winked at her and went inside to sleep.

Bharti sat there stunned for a few minutes and just continuously blinked her eyes. Suddenly, as if she snapped out of some kind of daze, she looked at the sky and put her hands in the air..

Bharti: "What is this yaar!? I should be jealous of Armaan, not those stupid models! Aaargh!"
