Armaan to fall in love with Bharti
Armaan of Bhaskar Bharti, played by Aamir Ali, is all set to fall in love with his friend Bhaskar who has been transformed into the girl Bharti. Aamir spoke to us about the track that sees his character loving a guy trapped in a girl's body.
He says, "I play a fashion photographer on the show. My character has a small daughter but does not have a wife. When he comes across Bharti, he realises that she is very different from other girls. Slowly, he begins to like her and introduces himself to her. Of course he doesn't know that this girl is actually Bhaskar."
The actor is not sure how the track will proceed once his character falls in love with Bharti, adding, "Armaan thinks that since Bharti is Bhaskar's sister, she is bound to share a few characteristics with her brother. It is fun because now Armaan is going to be the hero."
Aamir likes his role on the show because though it is a romantic one, it is unique. He adds, "I have played romantic roles before. Armaan too is a romantic boy but he is different. I have been getting good responses. My friends from the industry also watch the show."
He also believes in concentrating on one project at a time, saying, "I've always believed in doing one show at a time so I have not taken up anything else. I want to give my 100% to this show. As far as films are concerned, I'm not dying to act in them."
As for settling down with his long term girlfriend Sanjeeda Sheikh, Aamir says, "I want to settle down with Sanjeeda for sure but it will happen when the time is right. But it's not like work comes before our relationship; we just have not planned anything yet. We are having a good time with each other; though, even my mother would keep asking me about marriage. Now she has given up as we keep on fighting on this topic."
Armaan's and Bharti's love story is to start week. Bhaskar Bharti airs every Monday to Friday at 8.30pm on Sony TV.
