Ragini's craze

Guess who Ragini Khanna's - who will be seen playing Bharti in Sony's Bhaskar Bharti - favourite singer is? You won't believe it. But like millions of others all over the world she is crazy about MJ. MJ? Yes MJ, the once King of Pop, Michael Jackson.

Says she: "I am mad about him. I always wanted to become like him. I used to groove to his music and his songs and spend hours listening to them. My favourite tracks were Bad and Blood on the Dance Floor. I wanted to dance like him, sing like him. I tried to moonwalk like him. I tried to ape him but he is un-apeable. He is too good. However, my destiny brought something else for me and I am happy with whatever I am doing, but it also taught me one thing - that whatever happens, happens for one's good."

She adds: "I had never thought that I would become an actor. I wanted to pursue singing as a career and wanted to become a Pop-Star. Prakash Prasad ji had been teaching me singing for eight years and he used to appreciate me a lot. I was also learning dance from a well known dancer. But when i finished my college, people started urging me to take up acting as a career and I was also getting attracted towards it," pretty Ragini said.

An attraction that has certainly paid off. Way to go gal!
