Hey guys...the next update is served!

CHAPTER 6

There wasn't much to do at work that day as there were no pending cases and there was just one small case which needed a little working on and then everyone could leave..
Soon everybody was done with their respectful work and they winded up ready to leave...

You could see on her face that Ajabde loved her job...she basically had to just look at some old records and match them and she thoroughly enjoyed it..

Krishnaa had already left as her uncle was in the hospital and Duda too went quickly to meet her

There were only maan Singh, Ajabde and pratap left as all the others had left already...subho had offered to drop Ajabde but she said she had some more work pending and that her driver would be coming too

Soon enough...Ajabdes phone started ringing..

'Hello'

'Hello Ajabde'

'Hi mom...ya say...what happened'

'Actually the driver had an emergency at his home so he had to go..so he won't be able to come to pick you...should I come? Or send balwant?'

'No mom! Don't bother! And don't disturb balwant as well..let him study and concentrate...I'll come home..don't worry'

'You sure beta?'

'Yes mom...now bye'

'Bye...be safe'



Ajabde winded up soon, said a goodbye to maan Singh who was the only one left...might be having a habit of working long hours..
She came down on the road...she couldn't see any auto or taxi! She knew there was a taxi strike but there wasn't any auto as well..she stood on the corner asking every single auto but none of them apparently wanted to come that way...
It started drizzling quite soon and she was thoroughly enjoying..the roads were quite lonely as there weren't many people though some cars and vehicles were always there...

And then she sudden saw a white car about to hit a six year old boy who was apparently running across the road and he has slipped due to the slippery lane..,
She ran, screamed and saved the child as the car just drove away..

She saw a lady approaching her..she took the child, hugged him, said some words of thanks to ajabde and left

A black car came just where ajabde was standing to catch and auto...the window slides down and a familiar voice spoke..

'Get in...I'll drop you'

'No thanks sir...I can go on my own'

'Yes...if you walk on a lonely road on the night with no umbrella with you and also to add some expensive diamond jewellery...certainly an amazing idea!'

'Just so you know...I'm very good at martial arts and karate and I'm a black belt...so jewellery won't be problem...as for the umbrella...any person who knows how to enjoy would love to get wet in the rain'

'Madam! I'm sorry...sorry for arguing...please shut up and get in now...you'll girls!! Seriously...you'll can do a lot of drama'

'Excuse me!'

'Please get in!!! You'll get sick and that'll be a problem for me as I'll have one less officer for so many days'

'Ummm...Ok...'

And ajabde quickly got in and they drove away...
