Finally I got a chance to read your last three updates in one go - and I LOVED them!

Loved the khatta-meetha-tikha first meeting, like the street food in the last chapter 😆😆😆

Loved My Ajabde being brave and saving the child 👏👏👏

Also,loved the baarish - playing matchmaker, for both of them 😳😳 such lovely scenes!!

I could see them enjoying the rain and Your updates made me want to go have street food - pav-bhaji and gola - my favorite combination!! 😃😃😃

CHAPTER 8
Today was the first day Ajabde had met pratap it there was something in him which made her go mad over him.
His personality, his sarcasm or simply his sweetness with her...it was just so magnetic that she couldn't help being attracted to her even though she strives to control herself...

Pratap had just dropped her home safely, waited for her to get into her gate safely and then he drove away

She was walking towards her door in confusion as to what she should do...plus what would she tell her dad if he was there...
She rang the bell and her mom opened it...
She saw her dad sitting in the sofa with a newspaper open in front of him.
He saw her and said

'Ajabde! Where were you? Is this the time to come back home? Answer me!'

Ajabde looked at her mother and her mother signalled her to not say anything to her dad

She said ' actually, dad I had gone to meet saubhagyawati and then it got quite late...but don't worry! She dropped me back home in her car!'

Her dad smiled and replied 'it's ok! I know you never lie..' And saying that he left for his room

Ajabde looked at her mom as a tear dropped from her eye and she said
'This is the first time I lied to dad! Mom! I should tell him the truth right? But he'll get angry and then what if he simply says no and forbids me from going for work? I've tried hard for it and got this job! I don't wanna leave it!'

Her mom came, wiped her tears and said 'Ajabde, it's ok...God will make everything happen nicely. You will not tell your dad about this..you know him. He will simply say no. Don't worry we will manage it. Plus your dad never wanted you to do anything related to police force or anything which is according to him 'A Man's Job.' He let you study for it but he made it quite clear that you will not continue with such a job. It'll be a very big problem if you tell him now. I'll manage everything. You go and sleep.' She let out a weak smile

Ajabde hugged her and went to her room.


Pratap was standing at his balcony, staring at the glittering stars...he had a slight smile on his face as he held his coat in his hand..the same one which he had given to Ajabde...
Pratap was getting a weird feeling and it just filled him with confusion..he didn't know what was going on and a part of him told him that it was better for him to not know...
He sat on the couch and checked his social media and found Ajabde on Instagram...
He saw her pictures and smoked automatically seeing her cute dimples
He also scolded himself for stalking her but his heart couldn't listen to his orders and he kept staring at her picture for what seemed to be several hours..
He also couldn't control himself when he saw her picture with a friend who was a boy(he didn't want to say boyfriend) and a whole lot of jealousy crept onto him and he started wondering 'who is he' 'what does he do' 'How does she know him' and a lot more
He found himself getting more possessive when he saw the caption saying 'best friend you could ask for'
He somehow controlled his emotions and kept his phone down and went to freshen up and change...


Sorry for the late and terribly short update...I might not be able to be regular now on..so please bear with me! I promise to try and give longer updates
Also, now onwards...the real investigation will begin...really hope you'll like it..don't have tooo many hopes coz I don't really know how to create suspense and mystery..I'll still try my best 😉

Thanks my firstie! 😊 I'm glad you liked it...I wasn't sure if this was good...so your comment makes me feel better..yes pratap is jealous but I'm afraid I'm not planning to focus much on PrAja now...I don't really know what I want to do so it'll take me some time to plan it out...
