thought to pen it down. This is an OS and will contain two parts. IT DOES NOT
FOLLOW HISTORY toh joote, chappal mat marna. Do leave me good amount of love at

PART 1
The Maharani Of Mewar
was busy staring at the setting sun trying to find solace in the evening beauty
and infinity of the sky. Afterall, these four days were so hectic for her and
moreover the band and baraat of Maharana Pratap had arrived. It was the second
marriage of Mewar Ratna Maharana Pratap
to the princess of Marwar Phool Kanwar Rathore and thus it had to be a grand
affair. The Maharani had herself ensured that this marriage should be the
greatest affair in the entire rajputana. The whole palace was buzzing with
sounds. The trumpets and nagadas were not getting rest as their masters were
the best musicians of Marwar. Ajabde had made all the preparations herself. Yes,
she was upset when she came to know that KP had to marry Phool for political affairs but then her
duties towards her motherland helped her
gain the stability to make all the preparations for the wedding. She had not
even met KP from a week since the time he informed her about the marriage.
Ajabde didn't want silence, but peace. Peace for her inner turmoil, for her
mental dilemma, for her emotional storm which was moving out from her soul to
the living world in the form of tears. Just then, her inner voice(IV) started
revealing itself. IV: Stop crying over spilt milk ajabde. Don't you remember
you were the only one who made KP ready for this marriage by ensuring that you
were alright with it.? You were the only one who made all the arrangements and
decided to stay away from KP so that he cannot see your pain?'
Ajabde: Yes I know all that but how can I share KP with
another girl. He is my husband and..
IV: He is also the Rana of Mewar Ajabde and a rana has many
wives
Ajabde: I know but we had taken marital vows and we were
supposed to be committed to each other only but now the second wife...what if KP
forgets me? Afterall, I am a mere commoner and she is the princess of the most
powerful state of rajputana after mewar
IV: Oh ajabde you really think KP will forget you? He loves
you wholeheartedly and you are no more a commoner. You are the Maharani Of
Mewar
Ajabde: I wish I was not a maharani but a simple wife. Atleast
I would not have to share my husband. I can't bear it when I see him with
someone else.
IV: Ajabde you are a maharani before anything else and you
have to think about your subjects before
your fact of being a wife. Along
with the marital vows, don't forget the vows that KP and you had taken after
the marriage. You'll will have to keep
your motherland above everything and
Maharani you should now get ready for welcoming the new bride.
Ajabde had just got ready when the daasi informed her about
the arrival of the newly weds. She went down after composing herself but she knew that she
couldn't hide her pain from KP as he could bore into her right through her big
eyes. As she descended down, all the guests and courtiers were left dumbstruck
by the Maharani. She was looking ethereal. She was gorgeous yet simple. She
carried an air of monarchy and elegance around her. All the guests were gaping
foolishly at her which made pratap angry
and pissed. The new bride was shocked as all the eyes that were busy scanning
her beauty had now averted to the maharani. Phool always thought that she was
the most beautiful girl in the entire rajputana and will make pratap her puppet
by her charms but poor girl did not know that KP's heart was with ajabde.
Pratap called ajabde to come to them quickly as he could not tolerate more
eyeballs gazing her making Phool jealous. As ajabde came near and pratap got a
minute view of his wife, He forgot that he had a new bride. He was lost in her
beauty, in her eyes. She looked like a goddess mahn! Phool was burning with
jealousy seeing her husband stare the blushing maharani. She said,' can we start
the rituals' This brought pratap out of hs reverie. Ajabde did all the rituals
just like a perfect maharani and also guided the new bride through the rituals.
Everyone had just one thing to say, Ajabde is a perfect shadow of rajamata
Jaivanta Baiji. Later during dinner, all sang praises for the food prepared by
ajabde making pratap feel proud and mischevious, Ajabde blush and phool
jealous. All the while ajabde tried to avoid pratap since she did not want him
to see her pain and moreover she could not see him with someone else. Pratap
knew this and so he had to talk with her or else her inner pain would kill her liveliness.
