CVs have butchered every character, have made chutney out of history and chutney out of all the brains of good characters! because villains have superbrains!

Great analysis as usual rati...hmmm I liked the epi...looks like am in minority. ...am fed up of rona dhona...n tobe frank hv really lost my interest in praja...if they show the mu resolved then gud n if not then I couldn't care less...I liked akbar's scenes especially the fighting ones...pretty crisp...krip is good. ..n akbar knows everything abt pratap...anyways its alws said one sd alws hv all the info reg their adversary. ...

Cvz hv spoiled a beautiful love story nmade a mess of history. ...don't really expect them to regain their brain...n the day pratap phool fiasco starts I would simply stop watching n wl return when the actual story of the maharana wl be portrayed. .

Edit: Let me Remind everyone that History is written by the victors and so it can be manipulated or changed and we would never know, so what ever we read we have to take it with a grain of salt. Akbar's life was documented by the Akbarnama but of course it was written by the mughals themselves so everything cant be believed and so multiple sources have to be read and evaluated to properly understand who he was, same goes for Maharana Pratap, of course he was technically not the victor so his stories are usually told in local folklore and local historians. But it is true that apart from Haldighatti, most of the other wars where Pratap was defending forts, he almost always won if he was present (including Kumbhalgarh which he defended).

i was thinking same the other day what is truth? do we know everything? after prataps death amar singh did fight for few years but he did give up. mugal were in power they did so much destruction before our history recovers then came our dear British so much happen back to back i dought we do have true complete history. if we get to know few names during that time i count them as they must be super great. even one line about patta and jaimal means lot to me. they must be very powerful as they did secure chittor for 4 months with this small help.

yes a lot of Indian history was destroyed, only to be passed on thru stories, songs, and local legends, its sad that we dont have definte sources, but we just have to put two and two together, putting together folklore with what mughal accounts say, and then try to figure out what really happened! A lot of history is based on eye witness account or accounts passed on to another to write down but we of course dont know if it was changed in the process or manipulated (as the brits did)

yes even I read a lot of the akbar and birbal stories and of course birbal was a shrewd politician, and a king's existence and power is very much based on the capabilities of his ministers and spies!

Im sure Akbar was very capable but he surrounded himself with capable people who were also afraid of him as he was good fighter!
