Rachana Parulkar approached for Maharana Pratap

TOI was the first to inform it's readers that Contiloe Telefilm's Maharana Pratap is soon heading for a generation jump and the grown up character of Maharana Pratap will be played by Ssharad Malhotra.

And the latest news that we have received from the sets of the historical show is that actress Rachana Parulkar of Ek Mutthi Aasmaan fame was approached to play a pivotal role.

I will repeat what I said in other thread. She is not a fresh face. Nor innocent or expressive. Given her stiff looks she will overshadow chocolate boy Sharad.

news is not confirmed yet so don't make harsh comments on her...
and moreover she is a good actress overshadowed Shilpa shirodkar in her previous show...
and played rajashris daughter in saat phere...
if this news is true then at least give her chance... she won't disappoint u all m sure...

agree...she can do 100% justice to any kind of role...She is talented n best

Don't make prior assumptions please.

Won't blame though .even I did not like her at first look .But slowly her eyes won and now she adorns my dp.

Will say give her a chance I bet she will win u the very same way.

Plus she is very good in giving chemistry with male lead.She has a kind of secretive and mysterious aura which gives great chemistry .

I wish she chooses the project and I bet all will like her .

Exactly she is a excellent actress we started to watch EMA for shilpa but now we are proud to say that we are Rachana Parulkar's Fan she is a wonderful actress with wonderful heart.

Sharad is a good choice so is Rachana ...they both r very contrast in looks and its this contrast that will bring chemistry .

Totally agree she will do justice to role.
