yup- we should think of them- in the movie Holiday- they showed a center where injured soldiers were living and rehabilitating- one line that was said touched me- when in a normal job- someone does a good job they are promoted, but in the army when someone does a brave deed and is injured (lose limb) they are asked to retire!

Anuj,Rana Khetta,Ratan Singh, Bhils and students died as martyrs..
Guruji's strategies helped in delaying Mughals to enter but Chakri and guruji are badly injured..
Pratap sees everyone dead.. omg..such an emotional scene!

Since Thursday's episode he is most of the time riding horse??? But hukkam Singh thrashing was amazing. For the first time he killed his opponent at the first confrontation. Claps to him.
I wish he had not died soon, if he had survived them the mughal dynasty must have got an end.

I agree there were loopy scenes and exaggerations- typical seeti-bajao scenes-only thing is it would only be you in your family doing it and they will say, scene dekhne do! lol

In a normal situation and in real life that border fort area would be protected but since it looks like everyone is on holiday in Chittod, no one was there!
heheh... I sure hope the army has gone to watch Holiday and will be so inspired that they will immediately end their holiday and rush to Pratap!

yes the contrast in character is immense - and Shruti, in the early part of Jalal's life he was ruthless, as they are showing, cuz as you may remember from history or other posts, that there was a slaughter at Chittod after Jalal took over the fort, and some 30000 people were killed on mughal watch! I dont call Jalal great, I dont call Alexander great either; if they meant that they did great horrible things then yes they did!

Yes I do remember reading that he was very ruthless in the Chittor seige and later in life he became a sensitive ruler- but from what I am seeing now, I sure dont want to entitle him as Great ever! Even Ashoka was so cruel! We redeem people too easily and thats fine but entitling them as Great after what they have done! Sorry if i am rambling but it almost feels like the Indian politics today has its roots right there- the more criminal record you have, the more popular you get... (pls do correct my view if I am totally off-route)

Actually MP is called the first freedom fighter of the land, even Shivaji should be considered one too! I guess its not politically correct to call MP a freedom fighter 😡😡😡

I think Pratap has grown to understand that with war and such a great responsibility on your shoulders, there will be death, disappointment, victory and somewhere there will be happiness too!

I so hope thats what happens...He so so deserves a grand wedding with his soulmate... especially after all these massive struggles concocted by the CVs

Edit: We also saw BK's loyalty to Jalal with the killing of his soldiers- but one needs to draw a line somewhere, BK knew what was happening was wrong then why should he be blind in loyalty and do the wrong thing in the name of loyalty? you cant blame others for the sins you commit!

Very true Rati! I felt that too.. and then i realised Jalal is absolutely headstrong- he listens to BK or anyone else only when he decides to... Even BK knew Jalal will just not concede so he didnt press I guess. But i still was glad to see the humane side of BK in this scene. I believe BK died a very cruel death too- he had become quite gentle towards the end of his life and he was killed mercilessly when he was sitting in prayer...

Rati...as usual you are too good with analysis. ..Today's episode was over the top with gurukul fighting. .I was just so moved...kaash hum mein bhi aisa rashtra prem hota..sadly we today's generation not bothered about our soldiers dying every day to protect us...woh desh bhakti ka jasaba hi alag hora hain...really worth watching the episode for all the veer jawans who kaid down their life for their matrubhoomi. ..Rati yes people should watch the movie Holiday. .I just loved the movie. .you remember the dialogue said by Akshay to his sister whdn in cab...that civilians should also start thinking about their country it not only the duty of army..just loved today's episode. .salute to the Maharana Pratap. .

Thanks! sadly we dont bother much about our soldiers, but its never too late, they just want some appreciation nothing more! Yes! that dialogue from Holiday was so good! He was so right in saying that, is it only soldiers that must die for the country, cant civilians do the same! watching holiday should be a requirement lol! i mean basically we dont have to be a soldier to defend our nation, when the opportunity or occasion arise we need to rise to the occasion make a difference when it matters!

no no, you are right, I dont like that Great is added to leaders who have such horrible record, I personally just call Alexander or Ashok or Jalal by that name, no need to add great to them! there were so many other rulers who deserve to have great after their names- like Shivaji, or Ahilyabai Holkar (ruler of MP- who is called the female Akbar in her greatness and is known for her humanitarian work)

BK does have a human side to him, he is ruthless but knows when to draw the line! ohhh wow, didnt know that about his death, thats just wrong!

i like Pratap's move when HK cuts the rein he throws that on HK's nick brilliant👏👏👏that was mind-blowing😳 but after that all moves are quite funny but yet i enjoyed all action..😳 well i totally loved the action between mughal solider & RK that was really worth watching.. RK👏

First of all I am really glad that pratap didn't have mercy on that traitor. He deserved to die. Being forgiving and being stupid there is difference in it. What was surprising was those soldiers. They were standing like dumb when pratap throw HS. I feel it was example of week direction. Don't mind but there were many scenes which I felt were not making much sense.

I am surprised that there was no army or security soldiers at border that too when war was knocking on Mewar's door. I know it was Johar barsi and all but still you can't leave your door unprotected.

I must admit I simply admired every single person at Gurkul as they fought bravely knowing they were going to loose and die. I hope chakri will be fine. Jalal's plan was brilliant.

I hope they are not going to show Pratap fighting with the army alone that will be way too much. Hope Mewar's force will appear soon.

One last thing, I am really disappointed with US. He said why MP always have to rebel knowing all his gut feeling are always right. Rather that encouraging his son US always tries to stop him. I feel JB is stronger and more intelligent that US.

Episode was okay for me. I expected more compact one.

I feel so sorry that RK died and so did anuj and all others at gurukul 😭 ..really wanted RK to b part of mahayudh , he's a fine actor 👏 ..
as I read from earlier posts, I just want the action scenes to b more realistic, something to which me as a viewer can connect to..here I want pratap to b shown more in his warrior avtar than a super hero (tied GR to his back and was fighting , xcuse me but why, what,how..ridiculous)..coz then the entire war scenario might end up looking stupid and unrealistic 😲 ...
hope US gets some brains soon and join MP in the battlegrd rather than being a mere audience to kitchen poitics 🤢 ...
jalal...no comments 😲
