There were so many loopy scenes today; exaggerations beyond common sense- it would have classified as seeti-maro entertainment except for the fact that we were expecting a little more grounding in the war sequence...😕
Superman Pratap's gravitational-law defying, tree-frog leap out of the daldal! The daft mughal soldiers accompanying Hukum...😲
I have been wondering about this since Fridays episode- This fortress structure that GR and his handful students are stationed at, seems to be some border of Chittor... weren't the borders of all kingdoms protected at all times by a portion of the army...
And like Anu also has brought up innumerable times- Johur Barsi or not- GR has been really foolish to not resort to some messaging service to rush to US or Rawat ji! they needed sustennance! Rawatji and his troops will arrive like Indian police in hindi movies - after the scene...
Jalal's treacherous strategies- Such a contrast between the two heroes- one kills his own people as part of his war strategy despite BKs insistence to reconsider. (That pouring of fuming hot oil on the faces- gave me goosebumps!)
And the other who never raises his weapons even against his enemies without a concrete reason for doing so!
And sadly he is the Hero who died so early in life without victory per se and Jalal ended up being Akbar the Great?! (I really don't know much of this part of history, so if the real History is very diff from BKVPMP in this respect, please do share links that I can read up)
I salute rana khetta- somehow the atrocities on him reminded me of all our freedom fighters. Why is the Revolt of 1857 regarded as the beginning of the fight for freedom... Have they mentioned MP and his Bhil bhais as the first Freedom heroes anywhere, shouldn't they?...
On a side note- so many losses of close friends, associates and even his beloved subjects (mind you in a war that did not happen before they were united) Just how will there be a happy PrAja wedding ? Knowing Pratap who cries over not being able to meet again a friend whose name he doesn't know but feels very close to- he may not even smile for years to come!😭
Also Ajab- seriously annoyed with you... You love Phool more than your own soul and that's ok but your intelligence seems to be grazing in a far-off field somewhere at the moment! I was shocked to see so many letters of self-explanation to Foolish bai sa... - who you yourself have admonished so many times for being juvenile... It was okay in those days... but now can't you see the gravity of the situation you 3 are in...
🤔

Transformation of Pratap- One year ago, for those of you who didnt see the traitor scene - Pratap caught a traitor then too, but didnt have the heart to watch him die! but today Pratap threw the traitor to his death and watched him die! Today he is fit to be a Maharana for sure because if you punish you have to see the punishment happen! US had told Pratap at that time that you should have the courage to look into Death's eyes and defeat it! here is the link to that episode (it was a very good one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rlFPPUPJNWE&index=7&list=ELzU63_jyA8n0
I had forgotten this episode you mentioned in your post Rati... so saved these comments for after I had watched it...
So well pointed out- today he is as good as ready to be Maharana he not only has the right intuitions but the courage to follow them and face the repercussions of the truth unfolded...
Parallel scenes- Pratap surrounded by mughals and so was RK! We saw them both fight, both warriors of their time, brave and undefeated warriors! RK breathed his last today fighting for his motherland! The reason that RK's fighting was paralled to Pratap was because they are one and the same but of different generations, and as the old sun as to set to bring in the new sun, RK's death did just that!
very well symbolised...Surrounding the enemy and killing- when they surrounded RK, it reminded me of Abhimanyu, and how he was surrounded by
warriors and slain!
Yes truly we all must have thought of the chakravyuh in that scene... they all got in so bravely and no one could come out alive from that chakravyuh!😭The Ultimate Sacrifice- Today those men gave the ultimate sacrifice- of their lives! We dont remember our soldiers on the border (India, or where ever you are from) but they go thru that everyday for our well-being, so next time you see a soldier, please thank them for their service, for the sacrifices they have made so that we dont have to do the same!
We really should think of them more often...Pratap watches hukkum drown and die (i hope he is!) and now the mughals attack- finally they think oh maybe we should fight him! I mean Pratap had been there the whole time, why attack now!!! lol
Seriously- bumbling buffoons!I didnt like the song they played, it was too sad, they were dying a hero's death, at least play a song that shows that josh and will that those men had!!
So true!

Great analysis as always Rati.😊
I felt there were too many exaggerations tonight. Pratap's leaps etc. Discussed them in other thread.I am shocked at laxity of US, Raawat ji and their informers and spies! 😲 They seriously have no clue of what's going on?DB irritates me.😡 What a disgrace in name of a queen. 🤢US has no faith in Pratap that he still scolds JB for his behaviour? What else Pratap needs to do to be taken seriously? 😲Why no one from GR and Bhil camp sent any message or signal to royal family about this attack? And is there no army, informer, spy or guard placed around borders to keep general watch? 😲 If so then US is a failed ruler!👎🏼I hated Phool tonight.🤢 So self obsessed and heartless! Too bad she has no trait of her parents but has taken more after grandparents! The way she threw Ajab's letter was callous! 😡Pratap covered in mud and soil was symbolic of his being true son of the soil.😊Rana Khetta was brave and I admire his ability to keep attackers at bay single handedly. But for someone known to be expert in guerilla warfare I am taken aback he jumped straight into the fray with just one sword!😲His death was very brutal though. 😭Anuj died. 😭 Extremely sad.Chakrapani is not a warrior but a scholar yet he fought valiantly. That's the spirit! 👏Guru ji was amazing as he took all enemy arrows to fight against them.😊The blood, the sweat was visible. CVs need not have put extra focus on them though.Whenever they chanted Jai Mewar! Jai Eklingji! Har Har Mahadev! It was exhilarating! 😊Akbar's brutality was 🤢 I have read a few alternate accounts of how violent and ruthless he could be if a territory was not won by other means (marriage, bribing, mansabdari system). But what surprises me is Mughal soldiers' silent obedience and acceptance of this outrageous move! Why they did not rebel? Why no mutiny? After all, they were many while BK and Jalal were just two! 😲Wonder what indoctrination they went through to silently bear this abuse by Shehanshah! 😲Jalal's "jannat milegi" dialogue as he put soldiers to death was reminiscent of indoctrination that most perpetrators of mass violence do.Good point about evolution of Pratap.😊 He was reluctant to kill last year. Reluctant to see bloodshed. Now he has learnt to be hard as a warrior and deal with enemies and traitors.👍🏼Pitting Mewar against Marwar by this trickery. Divide and rule for Akbar!🤢I wonder did Rajputs not trust each other to follow war rules and code of conduct? How could Akbar or any other Mughal deceive and instigate one kingdom against other with cheap trickery?😲Episode should not have been 1 hour long. They should be racy and pack it in 30 minutes except for final day of war - that can be 1 hr special ME.
