Symbols and Analysis:

Loyalty- we saw more than one instance of loyalty- Sarang finally showed loyalty; RK showed his loyalty to his motherland; All those students and bhil fighting at the border showed their Loyalty! Edit: We also saw BK's loyalty to Jalal with the killing of his soldiers- but one needs to draw a line somewhere, BK knew what was happening was wrong then why should he be blind in loyalty and do the wrong thing in the name of loyalty? you cant blame others for the sins you commit!

Guru Dakshina- Anuj died today, and his life and death were far greater than any guru dakshina anyone can give and Guruji said that too! We saw again how GR tried to save his students, as I said before that Guru is Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh and GR totally lives up to that ideal!

Desh Drohi- what Pratap said was right, one who betrays his own country has no place, no support and no loyalty! when the mughals said they wont help hukkum, it showed that traitors have no place to survice once they are discovered, they are as good as dead! worse than dead, because no one will remember them!

using enemies's weapons against them!- Guruji is a genius in warfare, today he used the arrows that were being aimed at them against the enemy- whole new meaning of using your enemies own weapons against them!!

Transformation of Pratap- One year ago, for those of you who didnt see the traitor scene - Pratap caught a traitor then too, but didnt have the heart to watch him die! but today Pratap threw the traitor to his death and watched him die! Today he is fit to be a Maharana for sure because if you punish you have to see the punishment happen! US had told Pratap at that time that you should have the courage to look into Death's eyes and defeat it! here is the link to that episode (it was a very good one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rlFPPUPJNWE&index=7&list=ELzU63_jyA8n0

Parallel scenes- Pratap surrounded by mughals and so was RK! We saw them both fight, both warriors of their time, brave and undefeated warriors! RK breathed his last today fighting for his motherland! The reason that RK's fighting was paralled to Pratap was because they are one and the same but of different generations, and as the old sun as to set to bring in the new sun, RK's death did just that! Pratap won his fight but RK didnt lose his fight because he stood his ground he just passed his duties to his land to Pratap symbolically! I think that holds true for RS too, he represented the old generation that was fighting for Rajputana and he symbolically gave his duties to Pratap!

Today we lost many brave souls- Ratan Singh, Anuj, Rana Khetta and other bhils and students! if only Mewad had not been so worry free that nothing would go wrong as its Jauhar Barsi than those men would not have died like that, surrounded and outnumbered!

Surrounding the enemy and killing- when they surrounded RK, it reminded me of Abhimanyu, and how he was surrounded by warriors and slain!

The Ultimate Sacrifice- Today those men gave the ultimate sacrifice- of their lives! We dont remember our soldiers on the border (India, or where ever you are from) but they go thru that everyday for our well-being, so next time you see a soldier, please thank them for their service, for the sacrifices they have made so that we dont have to do the same! And side note- if you all have not seen the movie Holiday (Akshay kumar) yet, you have to see it, it shows the soldiers who fight for us!

It was a bloody day for Rajputana today- little did either kingdoms know what was going on at the border, little did they care of it! It was so sad to see those men die like that! They represented Rajputana but neither kingdom knew about it, and the one man who came to help- Pratap- came a little late, but not too late because Chakrapani and Guruji are still alive!

---------
Title: Khoon ki Holi for Rajputana and Ultimate Sacrifice!

Ok so today we start where we left off, Sarang finally shows his loyalty and gets the reins to Pratap and Pratap comes out! While hukkum comes and taunts him that he wont get out, etc

Anuj is dying and says im sorry he couldnt give guru dakshina!!! Guruji says this is bigger than any guru dakshina!

hukkum cuts the rein and then Pratap throws the reins around hukkum's neck- kya nishana sadha Pratap ne!!! got to see that!

and Pratap jumps out of the water by the reins! sooo good!

back at the havan - US is pissed, JB says I sent him to follow his heart! US is sending soldiers to pick up Pratap!

the mughal soldiers refuse to help hukkum- and Pratap does a dhobi pachad with hukkum and throws him where he belongs- in the quick sand!

back at the border- Guruji is taking the arrows that are hitting the rocks as everyone is manning the door! thats a smart thing to do, use the enemies' weapons against them! good call cuz thats the safest place to be!

RK and RS talk- RK says death is eminent then why not fight mughals and bathe ourselves in their blood! RS is very happy with that and says he will go too!
oh god!

Guruji and Chakrapani are shooting arrows!!! Jai Mewad! such an amazing scene!

RK jumps on the soldiers that are attacking the gate! omg such a good fight!!! Har Har Mahadev!!!!

and then the other soldiers surround him! oh dear!

Pratap watches hukkum drown and die (i hope he is!) and now the mughals attack- finally they think oh maybe we should fight him! I mean Pratap had been there the whole time, why attack now!!! lol

Pratap is fighting mughals on one hand and RK is fighting mughals at the border!! RK fights sooo well, Pratap fighting was great- both did an excellent job at sword fighting!!!

But RK gets injured!!! and keeps fighting! OMG RK is gravely injured, looks like he will die, but dont kno!!!!

ok this is sooo sad to watch, i cant watch RK dying! he is standing gaurd to the door and the mughals are charging with the log and hitting him too! and to add to all of that they added a sad song to the bg! they just needed for people to cry!!!

RK the warrior, and the Bhil leader has passed away!!!! So sad to see him die!

jalal finds out that Pratap has defeated hukkum, but really how did he find out when no one came out alive!

Jalal is bored!!! what the hell, he needs psychiatric help, he is watching war and says he is bored!!! so he decided to make it more masaledaar! really? you want to make this into a daily soap? lol he is going to send his own soldiers dressed in marwad clothes back to marwad - not alive but chopped in pieces! ok that should be red flag cuz rajput dont do that! only mughal do that!

Even BK is shocked that Jalal would kill his own soldiers!

back at the fort gate- the door is almost broken and the crew have swords in their hands and say Jai Mewad!! that brought goosebumps to my skin!

The door has fallen but not the spirits of the one defending it! the crew keeps fighting but Guruji tries to save Chakrapani!
The crew is surrounded by mughals- where the heck is Pratap!!!

Chakrapani is gravely injured, Guruji was unable to save him from the arrow! oh no not Chakrapani!

as Guruji is trying to save Chakrapani, he gets hit too!! oh god!!!
one by one the crew's numbers start lowering!! so sad to watch it!!

Guruji keeps getting hurt!!! he falls, and one by one everyone from our crew dies a marytr! Ratan Singh also falls! so sad!

Pratap reaches there, and sees his comrades like that!

Precap- Chakrapani is saved by Pratap and Guruji!

Today was a sad episode, the fighting was good, everyone on our side fought to the death! I didnt like the song they played, it was too sad, they were dying a hero's death, at least play a song that shows that josh and will that those men had!! Jai Mewad!!! Jai Ek LIngji! Har Har Mahadev!!!

I swear Rati, one more minute and i would have dozed off waiting for you!😉

I knew you would find lots of symbolisations in todays episode... 😊

There were so many loopy scenes today; exaggerations beyond common sense- it would have classified as seeti-maro entertainment except for the fact that we were expecting a little more grounding in the war sequence...😕

Superman Pratap's gravitational-law defying, tree-frog leap out of the daldal! The daft mughal soldiers accompanying Hukum...😲

I have been wondering about this since Fridays episode- This fortress structure that GR and his handful students are stationed at, seems to be some border of Chittor... weren't the borders of all kingdoms protected at all times by a portion of the army...

And like Anu also has brought up innumerable times- Johur Barsi or not- GR has been really foolish to not resort to some messaging service to rush to US or Rawat ji! they needed sustennance! Rawatji and his troops will arrive like Indian police in hindi movies - after the scene...

Jalal's treacherous strategies- Such a contrast between the two heroes- one kills his own people as part of his war strategy despite BKs insistence to reconsider. (That pouring of fuming hot oil on the faces- gave me goosebumps!)

And the other who never raises his weapons even against his enemies without a concrete reason for doing so!

And sadly he is the Hero who died so early in life without victory per se and Jalal ended up being Akbar the Great?! (I really don't know much of this part of history, so if the real History is very diff from BKVPMP in this respect, please do share links that I can read up)

I salute rana khetta- somehow the atrocities on him reminded me of all our freedom fighters. Why is the Revolt of 1857 regarded as the beginning of the fight for freedom... Have they mentioned MP and his Bhil bhais as the first Freedom heroes anywhere, shouldn't they?...

On a side note- so many losses of close friends, associates and even his beloved subjects (mind you in a war that did not happen before they were united) Just how will there be a happy PrAja wedding ? Knowing Pratap who cries over not being able to meet again a friend whose name he doesn't know but feels very close to- he may not even smile for years to come!😭

Also Ajab- seriously annoyed with you... You love Phool more than your own soul and that's ok but your intelligence seems to be grazing in a far-off field somewhere at the moment! I was shocked to see so many letters of self-explanation to Foolish bai sa... - who you yourself have admonished so many times for being juvenile... It was okay in those days... but now can't you see the gravity of the situation you 3 are in...
🤔

Great analysis as always Rati.😊
I felt there were too many exaggerations tonight. Pratap's leaps etc. Discussed them in other thread.

I am shocked at laxity of US, Raawat ji and their informers and spies! 😲 They seriously have no clue of what's going on?

DB irritates me.😡 What a disgrace in name of a queen. 🤢

US has no faith in Pratap that he still scolds JB for his behaviour? What else Pratap needs to do to be taken seriously? 😲

Why no one from GR and Bhil camp sent any message or signal to royal family about this attack? And is there no army, informer, spy or guard placed around borders to keep general watch? 😲 If so then US is a failed ruler!👎🏼

I hated Phool tonight.🤢 So self obsessed and heartless! Too bad she has no trait of her parents but has taken more after grandparents! The way she threw Ajab's letter was callous! 😡

Pratap covered in mud and soil was symbolic of his being true son of the soil.😊

Rana Khetta was brave and I admire his ability to keep attackers at bay single handedly. But for someone known to be expert in guerilla warfare I am taken aback he jumped straight into the fray with just one sword!😲

His death was very brutal though. 😭

Anuj died. 😭 Extremely sad.

Chakrapani is not a warrior but a scholar yet he fought valiantly. That's the spirit! 👏

Guru ji was amazing as he took all enemy arrows to fight against them.😊

The blood, the sweat was visible. CVs need not have put extra focus on them though.

Whenever they chanted Jai Mewar! Jai Eklingji! Har Har Mahadev! It was exhilarating! 😊

Akbar's brutality was 🤢 I have read a few alternate accounts of how violent and ruthless he could be if a territory was not won by other means (marriage, bribing, mansabdari system).

But what surprises me is Mughal soldiers' silent obedience and acceptance of this outrageous move! Why they did not rebel? Why no mutiny? After all, they were many while BK and Jalal were just two! 😲

Wonder what indoctrination they went through to silently bear this abuse by Shehanshah! 😲

Jalal's "jannat milegi" dialogue as he put soldiers to death was reminiscent of indoctrination that most perpetrators of mass violence do.

Good point about evolution of Pratap.😊 He was reluctant to kill last year. Reluctant to see bloodshed. Now he has learnt to be hard as a warrior and deal with enemies and traitors.👍🏼

Pitting Mewar against Marwar by this trickery. Divide and rule for Akbar!🤢

I wonder did Rajputs not trust each other to follow war rules and code of conduct? How could Akbar or any other Mughal deceive and instigate one kingdom against other with cheap trickery?😲

Episode should not have been 1 hour long. They should be racy and pack it in 30 minutes except for final day of war - that can be 1 hr special ME.

I had forgotten this episode you mentioned in your post Rati... so saved these comments for after I had watched it...

So well pointed out- today he is as good as ready to be Maharana he not only has the right intuitions but the courage to follow them and face the repercussions of the truth unfolded...

Parallel scenes- Pratap surrounded by mughals and so was RK! We saw them both fight, both warriors of their time, brave and undefeated warriors! very well symbolised...

Surrounding the enemy and killing- when they surrounded RK, it reminded me of Abhimanyu, and how he was surrounded by
warriors and slain!

Yes truly we all must have thought of the chakravyuh in that scene... they all got in so bravely and no one could come out alive from that chakravyuh!😭

Seriously- bumbling buffoons!

I didnt like the song they played, it was too sad, they were dying a hero's death, at least play a song that shows that josh and will that those men had!!

So true!

Thanks Rati... Good night... Oh Good morning 😊

even am confused..dint Mewar had security at the border? hows it possible? 😕 thousands of people are standing at the border ready to gain control and not even a slight intimation about it?
i understand guruji and everyone else didn't wanted to disturb the Jauhar barsi puja but what about the terrible situation?

when everyone agrees that Pratap is proficient, then how can US neglect his suspicions and seem unconcerned? Rawat ji too? 😕

Anuj,Rana Khetta,Ratan Singh, Bhils and students died as martyrs..
Guruji's strategies helped in delaying Mughals to enter but Chakri and guruji are badly injured..
Pratap sees everyone dead.. omg..such an emotional scene!
really upsetting episode 😒

agree to all your symbolism rati..
and i admire how Pratap has transformed!

dont wanna talk about Phool..and Ajabdeh get over Phool now! 🥱

haha, sorry got caught up with something. yea today was good but there wasnt a smooth flow!

I agree there were loopy scenes and exaggerations- typical seeti-bajao scenes-only thing is it would only be you in your family doing it and they will say, scene dekhne do! lol

In a normal situation and in real life that border fort area would be protected but since it looks like everyone is on holiday in Chittod, no one was there!

yea message was needed, barsi is not an excuse for someone to be off gaurd!

yes the contrast in character is emmense - and Shruti, in the early part of Jalal's life he was ruthless, as they are showing, cuz as you may remember from history or other posts, that there was a slaughter at Chittod after Jalal took over the fort, and some 30000 people were killed on mughal watch! I dont call Jalal great, I dont call Alexander great either; if they meant that they did great horrible things then yes they did!

Actually MP is called the first freedom fighter of the land, even Shivaji should be considered one too! I guess its not politically correct to call MP a freedom fighter 😡😡😡

I think Pratap has grown to understand that with war and such a great responsibility on your shoulders, there will be death, disappointment, victory and somewhere there will be happiness too!

no comments on phool or ajabdeh!

Ok so I added this part to my post:

Edit: We also saw BK's loyalty to Jalal with the killing of his soldiers- but one needs to draw a line somewhere, BK knew what was happening was wrong then why should he be blind in loyalty and do the wrong thing in the name of loyalty? you cant blame others for the sins you commit!

I am very sad for pratap. He had already lost many people whom he loved. First ajabde and now all these. Thank god that guruji and capani survived.
Jalal is mad. In war also I am getting bored. And then killing ur own soldiers.
They all sacrificed themselves just to protect mother land. salute to guruji and others.
Since Thursday's episode he is most of the time riding horse??? But hukkam Singh thrashing was amazing. For the first time he killed his opponent at the first confrontation. Claps to him.
I wish he had not died soon, if he had survived them the mughal dynasty must have got an end.

Thanks! yes the visual effects on the jumping and all was too much!
I cant take the hour episode, they should just have 30 min- I agree with you!
yea Mewad was like oh wait we have enemies? their minds are on holiday since its barsi
DB not worth my time so didnt mention her!
US is just a bag of contradictions, one hand he trusts Pratap, other side he is scolding JB!
yea message should have been sent! who cares if there is a barsi going on!
phool- no comment-grrr
oh nice catch!! Pratap - soil- son of the motherland! very nice observation!👏

yea CVs totally just wanted to kill of RK so they made him lose his mind and jump in, cuz you are right, he is an expert so he would never jump in like that but it was a do or die mission by the time he decided to jump in, he couldnt ditch his crew and there was no chance of leaving that place alive unless aid came- so I see why RK preferred to jump in like that!

RK dying was bad!
In Pratap's crew- jaat means nothing- you know how to fight and you are ready to die for your motherland = you are in!
Yes when they cheered, you could feel the adrenaline rush they were having, which now they have passed on to us!

Smart rulers know their enemies, but we are talking about rajput rulers who at one word will raise swords! so I guess it would take someone like Pratap to figure out the enemies' chaal!

Jalal's brutality- no words, no comments- not worth my time!😡
