Maybe thats a red herring...

But maybe...

even though Marwar and Mewar are enemies again now, as they need to fight the Mughals, their common enemy, they eventually come together against the enemy...

Like RK who is Marwar samant now fighting on behalf of the Rajputana, but protecting Mewar at the moment...
