Rocking entry indeed!
I watched the episode in bits and pieces due to poor signal because of the rains...
But I just want to know- where is the vishaal Bhil army we saw last year. Bhils who are such skillful warriors, they could take on to these Mugals easy peasy... Did i miss something about the Bhils- only Rana Kheta came back...has he summoned his tribe...?

Bravery and foolishness go hand in hand!- Some would say its the same thing!
I felt just the same... Such a loss- earlier he couldnt come to terms with his father having joined mughals. And finally when he did, he couldnt come to terms with saving himself for a bigger fight/cause rather than losing his life over petty vengeance...

Shri Ram ke Vashaj- today Guruji refered to the story of Shri Ram facing 14000 demons alone! GR said the right thing because if you have the strength and courage to face and conquer your own internal demons, you can face an army of 14000 or even one lakh alone!! Its all about conquering your inner fears and having the confidence to face the world!

I loved that little piece GR quoted on Ram-Lakshman-Surpnakha and your take is super as well - Loved his rannneeti and his farsightedness...
just on a fun note- GR must have deliberately omitted to mention here that "Sri Ram & Lakshman could summon icha teers and other magical shastras while we could be short of teers very soon but fight on..." 😳

Its only people like Guruji and Pratap who have to say stop and think and then act!

Again today we saw the importance of a horse to his master, on one hand we saw how the horse yesterday gave up his master's identity, and today the horse put his master (pratap) in harm's way! I doubt that horse is Sarang and if he is, then hukkum did something to him!

I think it is Sarang. And how I saw it (in bits & pieces though so understanding may be incomplete)- it seemed Sarang stopped him today so that Pratap would not leave Mewar and cross borders in this time of need. Maybe...😕

Ajabdeh finally opens up to God, as no one else wants to talk about Pratap, today Pratap has two women worrying about him and the two also are having a bad feeling about Pratap! Today Pratap has two women's prayers behind him, Pratap will never fail! He has two pure souls praying for him with the utmost love!

Loved it- She knows it..
I have always felt I get saved (from big things or small) a lot of times just because of my devout mother's prayers- She prays for us from the heart, just like every mother does..
And I feel JB and Ajab are the same... their prayers just have to work...

MP team has mastery in showing war sequences and the tension that precedes a war.👍🏼

I am shocked why no one has sent a message to US and main palace yet about this attack! 😲

Guru ji's fortitude, strategy and composure was inspirational as always. When you see him in battles, his strictness and stoic behaviour in gurukul makes complete sense.

His analogy about Ramayana was perfect. After all Mewar royals claim descent from same vansh! They are guided by same values and ethos.😊

DB is a shame.🤢 Such crisis is looming large and she is still spreading negativity and animosity. 😡 Kabhi nahi sudhregi!

JB is true Maharani. The way she brought VB, the way she has begun to sense crisis..shows her devotion to motherland and sense of duty towards Mewar kingdom.

Paras was naive. Today he did prove he was foolish and impulsive. I wish he had thought of Rajputana than just name of his own family.

The zeal of boys ready to sacrifice their lives and shed blood for sake of motherland has always been both heartbreaking and inspirational.

Rana Khetta ji and Bhils are stars since they were introduced. I daresay much wiser and quick thinking in war time than US.

Bhils' loyalty...their warfare tactics amaze me.

I am happy Ajabde remembered Pratap.😊 I am surprised news of war has not reached Bijolia yet? I am keen to see Rao Mamrakh's response as well.

Pratap is one man army in my eyes. Always ventures alone. His family has rarely shown respect to his instincts or supported him till now.

The horse! Identity, vehicle and companion of its owner! Rightly described by you Rati.😊

I hope Sarang saves him. And I want that traitor killed now. Enough of his laughs!😡

Akbar is watching tamasha. 😡 Why ask others to think? Can he not think on his feet? Only fit to think in comforts of mahal?🤢

Good that episode was one hour long. The momentum was kept till end.😊

There will be making of war episode on Sunday at 5:30 PM IST, right? Looking forward to watch it and good that Sony is promoting it well.😊

No Phool. No Marwar. Relief!

Looking forward to seeing Pratap in action next week.

Apart from thrill, excitement...I feel emotional when I watch war episodes...partly proud of their sacrifice and partly sad for kind of tough lives they had in those troubled times. What spirit!

Yes the war part was choreographed and directed well, as usual! MP team does a great job with war sequences!
Their excuse is that they cant send anything on a Barsi!
DB and her evilness- thats why I didnt talk about her nonsense!
You are right Paras only thought of his kingdom when he tried to face the enemy!
Bhils are constantly protecting their turf so Im not surprised that they have excellent battle tactics and skills! This stuff is second nature and like natural reflex to them!
I wanted to stab hukkum everytime he evilly laughed or smiled!
Pratap's friends fought bravely today, though they were skeptical, they were not foolish like Paras!
yes there is a behind the scene segment for the war- which is really nice! cuz the channel seems to always forget that this show exists!! but anywho, we all should watch it!
it was a thrilling episode but it was a little slow for me in the beginning, but it picked up after like 15 min!

Thanks Shruti! lol, the episode lacked something, but it wasnt bad!
i thought RK would bring back his bhil warriors too, but CVs said no lol!
you are right petty vengeance is not worth it! look at the bigger picture
i dont know, I really dont think its Sarang and if it is hukkum did something to him! cuz hukkum was the one who brought the horse to Pratap!
yes prayers from a pure heart or done with a pure heart are the ones that go the furthest!

Sorry Rati but really busy today. 😭 Thanks for the awesome post. I agree on the Rajput part. The Rajputs were brave but never exactly good strategists. It was the Marathas who get the credits for that.

arre why are you saying sorry? we all get busy with other things! lol!
you're welcome! yup the Marathas are known for their strategy but the Maharana was the one who had the first (guerilla warfare), those tactics were passed down to the Marathas who perfected it!

to tell u the truth...i was sleeping half way through the epi...
when i woke up...the baarish-aatish was in play...
then after the episode got over...i rewinded n watched the full thing...
i found the episode quiet nice...
fb's from boondi ka mahayudh...
and the patriotism added with presence of mind, displayed by Guruji and ofcourse...the Rocking entry of Rana Kheta...they made my day...
the command Guruji had over the situation and over the group and the preps...that was like, "ooohhh!!!!" for us...
but...the real catcher for me...Ajab was concerned about Pratap today...not phool...situations in Bijolia are as i expected...everyone wud be angry at Kunwar Pratap...so they arent even saying his name...which made Ajabdeh take shelter under Kanhaji...and now that she is opening up to him,to god...he will definitely help her out better than anyone...
the last time Pratap was in danger, the snake attack by GJ(even i got the fb when they left Pratap drowning today)...some of us were banking on Ajab's inner voice knowing about it...i even wrote that in my story...now see, when PrAja literally love each other,n they know it...Ajab's inner voice has started knowing about Pratap...and JB is his mom,she can feel it whenever her son is in danger(in boondi when Pratap was being beaten by a hunter, she cud feel the pain miles away in Bijolia...even when Pratap was bitten by a snale)
the two most important ppl/women in his life are at his rescue now...his mother and his lover...their intellects and bhakti won't let any harm happen to Pratap...and he places full faith+trust+love in them...this will deffo work out( ur mother died protecting u Harry, and that kind of act leaves a mark...which resides in ur very skin...which prevented Voldemort frm touching u...its Love Harry...Love...-Harry Potter n the Philosopher's Stone..JK Rowling)
today we saw patriotism on one side and loss of life on the other...battles have taken place and a lot of people have given their lives...earlier...we used to see one king dead in a week...the two kings in a week...now we have lost two very important people in one day(days and weeks according to the days the episode is aired)...this just takes me back to Harry Potter where it all started with disappearances taking form of death...one by one...very slowly...and these deaths increased and we came to the Battle of Hogwarts...it feels the same here...where we were loosing one state at a time...now 2 imp. people...three actually...this no. will slowly increase and then we head to the real battlefeild of heart breaking wars...this is just the beginning of terror...oh i touches me to think about the future...
okay i'm stopping...superb analysis as always Rati...my fav part of today's post...RS respresenting rajputana and horse's importance to his master...it just kindled hope..inside me...RS reminds the fact that before being Mewari or Marwari...we are Rajputs first...same way like before bing Hindus or Muslims or Sikhs or Christians first, we are Indians...and we need to unite for the betterment of our nation...
this bravery and foolishness line...i have recently heard it somewhere...possibly in Sherlock...and it is so apt...sometimes,in being brave...we forget to be down to earth and look at the more sensible ways...thats what happened with Kunwar Paras today...
Shri Ram's kahani narrated by Guruji...gave a contended feeling inside to me...infact...i was thinking of drawing parallels from Ramayan into my stories...here we see a very clear one...
the thing u r saying about Pratap meeting RS...i will be waiting for it...and i hv no idea what Marwar has in store for Mewar

edit: PS-i completely forgot this bit...along with Guruji...the expressions on Chakri's face...they showed his boiling blood...!!!!👏
we are now seeing Jagmal...not to mention DB...
can i please ask that if the full family was meant to sit in the havan...then where was SB???
as for the bhils...i really didn't watch the boondi part...i hv seen this show since Pratap defeated BK and left him to live in shame...i would love to know more about the Bhils... :D

Bhils have played important part in Mewar's history and are represented in its emblem too.

In the show (and as per history), they taught Pratap guerilla warfare, survival strategies in forests, laying traps, hunting/guarding against wild animals. Rana Khetta is as much Pratap's guru as Guru Raghvendra. This was covered when Pratap was exiled to live in Talheti last year. Pratap and Bhils also fought a bloody battle from jungles with Mughal army led by Bairam Khan in this show.

Two links to shed a bit of light on Bhils,

I am curious about selective coverage of US family! Jagmal is mentioned as ninth son of US. So where are other kids?😕 Other boys? Why is SB and Vikram ignored? 😲

hahah! its ok, i guess you were tired! it was an alright episode, but the war sequences were great!
RK's entry was great!!!
your Harry Potter reference is great, and you can relate it to this situation!
yes, with war comes death and they are building up that side, with two deaths today!
no no, your rant is nice!

thanks! yes! RS didnt see that he was marwari but as a Rajput! Just like that people should think that they are Hindu or muslim, christian etc, but as an Indian, or where ever you may be from!
I actually heard the foolish and brave thing from somewhere but it was a villain who said it, but it made sense! lol!
lets see what next week has to offer!

I guess they are showing the sons who have significant history or history they could find, because not all sons may have been as parakrami as Pratap (obviously not lol)

The coat of arms for Mewar has the bond of Bhil and Rajput illustrated on the flag!
