Hi guys😊, here is a little info about haji khan ,[ as per rati's request :- ) ] Haji khan was a commander of Sher shah suri .After disintegratioon of afgan rule in delhi, he become the defacto rular of Alwar. He helped Hemu with reinforcement [ a contingent commanded by himself ] in the Battle For Delhi in toghlaqabad. Something to be noted here that ,afgans considered themselves as 'natives'{?} of india by then { and Hindus too think of them as such }[?] And both considered Mugals as foreign Invaders. Hemu's army is filled with muslim afagans and hindus alike. Now Haji khan MEWATI of Alwar was the chief commander of hemus army And credited with assasination of Bairam khan , when he{ haji khan mewati] was living in pattan after fall of Alwar to avenge death of his father at the second battle of panipat. Now ,i am not sure HE is the SAME haji khan, the defacto rular . Bcoz , if he was a mewati ,it would mean Haji khan mewati who killed Bairam ,would be a muslim rajput , did he not ?😕 And it would mean , he would not be an afgan, like the serial mentioned. And Haji khan, was simply mentioned as the commander of sher shah. Since shershah apppointed a lot of people hindus , muslims alike , its is possible that HE might be a mewati , and the SAME person who killed Bairam khan. And the SAME person who was the most trusted general of Hemu. Anyway, after fall of hemu, haji khan along with hemu's family escaped from delhi along with hemus treasure .and hemus family started living in alwar. But peaceful days were shortened . Soon, akbar despatched an army to capture alwar and seize hemu's treasure under command of Nasir - ul - mulk commonly known as peer muhammad khan. Haji khan ESCAPED [ unlike the serial mentioned] before , akbar's army reached alwar. But unfortunately not all of hemu's family was lucky nor did his treasure. Hemu's 80 yr old father captured by mughals. Peer muhammad khan, told him that he would spare his life if he [ hemu's father] embraced islam. That brave old man steadfastly refused without dishonouring Islam and simply questioned peer khan, that how he supposed to renounce his old faith and embrace a new one without understanding it And Peer muhammad khan Beheaded that old person as the answer to his question 😡!! In abul fazl's words "Answered him with the tongue of his sword " 😡. And mughals also succeeded in seizing hemu's treasure . OK,so, after that haji khan tried to escape to ajmer. And our dear rao maldev instead of helping him, send his army to loot him ! Haji khan was aware of the conflict between. marwar and mewad. so he acted intelligent. and asked rana US for help . So rana udaysingh send Rao jaimal mertia , Rao surjan and Durga sisodia to aid haji khan. Rao maldev 's army returned without fighting the battle. THIS , increases the rivalry between US and Maldev . Alright, now here is a little unsavoury fact about Uday singh. Rangrai patar was a mistress of Haji khan. Hearing about her beauty, rana US wanted to HAVE her😲 .After all he had helped Haji khan .So he asked her from haji khan 😲 . Haji khan refused it by saying she was his wife. The samants opposed this deed of US, but he send an army against haji khan anyway. And NOW haji khan asked help from Rao maldev [ clever man😆] And since rao MD looking for an oppurtunity to give US a lesson, agree to that. So both armies gather at Harmara .Army of mewad is hugely outnumbered by combined army of Marwar and pathans. Samants asked US not to fight ,but he did not listen and as expected , mewad suffered a terrible defeat. And it added fuel to Rao MD and Us enmity. anyway ,after that , what happened to haji khan, whether he lived in ajmer ,or went from there, well, i could not find anything about that. And if he was the SAME haji khan mewati ,who killed bairam khan[ that would have been poetic justice], then he probably continue living in pattan for the rest of his life .
