Ok i just wanted to ask abt biography of jaivanta bai, i'm trying hard to search it on google but couldn't find it out. There are no traces about her parents, birth and death. If anyone is from chittor or has seen historical monuments where there might be inscriptions about her then pls share. I want to know it badly

One more fact from the history books about Jijau aka jijabai.. She was instrumental in finding the Guru ( Dadoji ) for Chatrapati Shivaji who trained Shivaji on various fronts. Apparently she had a keen eye for judging people. I am not sure how instrumental Jayawantabai was in finding Guru Raghavendra, but at least we know that she was keen on getting a good Guru for Rana Pratap ( and did not jump on the first opportunity to make him the Yuvaraj without any formal training).
Also, as the history says it, both these great ladies made great use of scriptures like Ramayana and Mahabharata to teach practical lessons for their sons... And most importantly never got involved in any kind of kitchen politics. They geared all their energies in the constructuve direction that shaped the history positively.

very true.
Im sort of crazy over her dialogues.
another beautiful one in Wednesdays episode was aap ishwar ko vivash nahi kar sakte. khrodh ki bhasha ishwar toh kya insaan bhi nahi sunata. ...

Im new to this forum.
how about someone make a thread compiling her dialogues?:)
for instance there's a thread on harry potter forum of dumbledores quotes. something like that here. its inspiring.

even guru R's dialogues are superb. ;)
