That's completely alright, Hadia. It's not that you aren't supposed to, cannot or should not 'like' or 'love' or 'hate' grey/dark/negative characters. Every character in a story is meant to serve a purpose, so all the like/love/hate, all these emotions are subjective to one's own taste, preferences and sense of judgement. Personally, I think as long as what they do isn't justified or white washed, it's all cool. Um and apologies if I wasn't supposed to comment here.😳

Nhi maya can't be defended at all for whatever she did. Her character was just not grey. Jennifer misunderstood i guess 😆 And tbh i like dark characters more, they are much more intriguing than gopi bahu types 😉

That's what's more upsetting, I kept saying to myself and others that Maya is not negative because Jenny kept saying that but by the look of what she is doing she is beyond negative. Don't know why Jen said her character is not negative, well only phase 3 we will understand but I'm let down. Oh well let's just see how the track goes

I have always been into anti-hero and villain-type characters, provides they have facets and layers to their character. Characters like Heathcliff, Loki, Olivia Pope, Damon Salvatore and Klaus Mikaelson. Maya may be evil but she is so interesting and entertaining. Also, Jennifer Winget plays her to perfection.So, I guess you are not the only one who is unable to hate Maya., despite her horrible deeds.

Me too Damon Salvatore, Katherine Pierce and Klaus Michelson. These are most evil murderers ever on television but still I love them and most of the world does 😆

Well, honestly speakly, I have always empathised with Maya & her mental condition because of her childhood abuse by Ashwin, though I have never used that as a justification for her criminal acts.

When I see Maya, it reminds me of Kajol in Gupt movie. Kajol has always been my favorite but I liked her the best in Gupt. She is my all-time favorite. I liked Jennifer in SC. She has surprised me in beyhadh. Thinking about Kajol, I cannot hate or stop loving her though her actions cannot be justified. I am not trying to do it either.
