Arjun as a character is simply disappointing..Yes as a husband it is his duty to protect his wife's honor but what baffles me is that he is the same guy who wanted to run away from Maya , who drew Maya hanging by the ceiling and in that portrait he had depicted her as a Jalad and he did that for a reason, he is the same man who knows Maya very well coz he has lived with her for 3 years...he knows what Maya is capable of.
It is absolutely right to support the wife/woman but is Maya any ordinary woman ? Who can know better than Arjun..she is the same girl who drugged him , tied him up , put cameras everywhere , hit herself , she did all this so that Arjun could stay with her and Arjun is aware about all of Maya's actions !
Why it didn't cross his mind even once that what if Maya is lying , why he didn't bother to hear out Ayan's side of the story...Doesn't Arjun know Ayan as well..after all he is his brother...Let's say not a brother but as a human being too he should have heard him at least once then should have come to a conclusion.
When Maya can hit herself and blame gets put on Arjun then can't Maya lie this time too
Why it didn't cross Arjun's mind even once to doubt Maya.
Even if we give him the benefit of doubt that she feels no woman can lie about this...but isn't it a naive thing to say.
Very frankly speaking rape is a very sensitive matter...not only for women but for men as well.
To say that every man who is blamed is guilty coz a woman will never lie is not right and a very naive thing to say...Gender has nothing to do with it...No crime has anything to do with gender...one cannot assume that a man will always be at fault if a woman files a rape or an attempt to rape case against him...if this was the case then there would be no need of a court case and directly verdict will be given and the man will be punished...but this is not the case at all !
A man can definitely be innocent and no innocent being should be falsely convicted.
Matters like rape are very sensitive, lives and reputations of innocent lives are at stake in such casesq and people should be sensitive about it...declaring someone guilty of a crime before hand s wrong.
Here also Arjun declared that Ayaan did attempt rape...did he see it ? Nope !
Maya and Ayaan both lives are at stake here...one is innocent and other is lying.
What if Ayaan is really innocent and Maya framed him of rape attempt..what if Saanjh loses the case and Ayan gets convicted of rape attempt despite being innocent..then what will Arjun do once he will find out the truth..will he be able to live with the guilt that Ayaan - whom he called his jaan got jailed coz of his wife.
Shouldn't Arjun's priority be to let the truth come out in the court so that the innocent can get justice and the culprit get punished ans how will lying help
Who is Arjun or for that matter anyone to declare that Ayaan is a rapist.
How will lying help..Yes it will help Maya but what about the truth.
When will Arjun apply his brains I wonder.
I had a doubt that maybe maybe Arjun might be faking it to find out the truth and to protect Ayaan from Maya but more I think about it the more I feel that Arjun as a character is not that intelligent to do something like that đ
Same way not letting Samay come to the court is a silly thing coz today or tomorrow he will be called in the witness box and what he saw was that Ayaan was on top of Maya...he did not witness the entire scene but only that part...he should have been called.
The truth must come out...what I personally think is that Maya framed Ayaan of rape attempt while Ayaan can be called guity of physical assault.
Rest let's wait and watch.
