I agree, the question could have been avoided. But she definitely had a point in asking it and putting it that way.I myself believe n am 100% sure that Maya has framed Ayan. Yet, I thought Saanjh was over confident to the point of being arrogant...I would prefer if Saanjh was confident, n used her intelligence more...Over confidence has never helped anyone, imo...My point is, her insensitive remark could have put the lady judge off right in the beginning, as she doesn't know Maya's truth...As you had mentioned, the diagram she had drawn on that paper, she might have conceptualized and planned it accordingly. The diagram was the silliest part of the epi, imo...😆...The whole world knows Maya is Arjun's wife n boss...N all those who have dealt with her know that she is psycho...Eg Vandana, Ayan, all the office staff, etc...So what exactly new did Saanjh deduce???😆Likemany mentioned, Maya is no abla naari with the way she dealt with Samay, but... This could also be a point to be noted by opponent of saanjh, Maya has always shown her weak side when it came to dealing with abusive male, including Ashwin. She was weak and vulnerable there... Not comparing the two different guys here, but understanding this weak side of Maya. Still unsure of who is right, I am just putting a point which defend lawyer can definitely raise. Hence, Saanjh's question was definitely not invalid, given the side she has seen of Maya. But now its on other side, how they take it forward. Arjun himself can bring around about Ashwin at this point. Of course it would be more painful for Maya here, as it would bring back memories of that devil as compared to "pain" by saanj's point.Exactly...Maya has a history of vulnerability to violence...Saanjh is well aware of that... Infact, this question of hers could back fire on her,if Arjun mentions how he had to step in to save her from Ashwin on many occasions...😆Saanjh is wrong to ask Samay to not come... 😆 Illogical, but I feel Samay will end the game. He might also mention that saanjh had requested him not to come. But I believe that's just so that CVs can add on courtroom scenes. My only point here is that a good lawyer should prepare how to counter the prosecution when Samay comes to court...Asking him not to come, when he's the key witness, is very strange, to say the least.

That's not even the point man! There is no stats to back up nor can one calibrate as to how a person/victim would tactfully defend oneself in an attempt to rape. So the conclusion Saanjh supposedly made from that statement "kuch bhi manage kar sakti hai" doesn't mean Maya magically has the superhuman ability to thwart a potential offender's advances. In order to prove Maya;s involved in some kind of subterfuge, Saanjh has to provide evidence to the court. That line of thinking in itself is flawed. But having said that, she's probably going to ask what caused her to return suddenly to India and about the in-flight commotion.
Did saanjh utter the word rape in the handling statement? Maybe she's talking of handling something else! Why are you people so hell bent bashing her just with the start of the court proceedings?
And this is a show. If bringing in ADAALAT as an example is null, discussing BEYHADH is too. Because both are tv series and will surely have some exaggerations. So rather than waiting a bit for tonight, stop howling on Saanjh for just a statement which didn't even include the word RAPE in the first place.

Saanjh needs to research and prepare better for her to sound convincing as a lawyer. CV's once again lacked the intelligence/wit and logical debate to make the courtroom drama look thrilling!Saanjh should not have deterred Samay from giving his statements in court considering his statements are already recorded by the cops. In addition she should also enlist Jhanvi as witness to the incident. Even though Jhanvi cannot speak, she can write or answer in affirmation or negation to questions.Better approach would have been to ask for any medical evidence to begin with. Then Maya should have been grilled about her altercation with Ayaan--Which was for the keys which she had hidden and restrained/kidnapped and drugged Ayaan's brother. It could have proved that there was an assault but not a sexual assault. Motive was different. Ayaan could be guilty but not guilty of attempt to rape.

I totally loved Saanjh in Mondays epi...But yesterday, I was let down by the dialogues given to her n her overly overconfident demeanor...But I hope to see a better thought out n better executed court room drama henceforth...Saanjh...You have to expose Maya...Come on...But tread slowly & cautiously...👍🏼

If what Saanjh said was not about rape, then I'd take back everything I've said about her here. But she'd still be guilty of witness tampering though.
