If the same was done by a man to a women then what it is called molestation and attempt to rape

What's amusing is people just don't know how put forth their ideas without personally attacking and oh, yeah without dragging Saanjh. 😆

On topic, as of now from what is shown what Maya did was domestic violence and human right violation (keeping a person bound against his wish or blackmail, not allowing a person his basic freedom like eating the food of choice). The anniversary night party Maya's attempts at getting physically close like trying to kiss against his wish was borderline molestation. It would be okay if it was lovers tiff and she was consoling him by trying to get romantic but given their relationship where the wife has domesticated husband by taking away most of his human rights, her trying to kiss and him trying to escape is borderline molestation or sexual harassment.

in blue; going through the comments it seems like its acceptable as its romantic! I think more than gender issue, it's about perceived romance, as long as male and female lead are physically proximate it's all fine. Unfortunately Indian tv, cinema and a larger chunk of society has never taught us that CONSENT is the major key for romance or sexual relationship. And manhandling between opposite sex is always romanticized, so anything involves man-woman physically close gives a romantic satisfaction to the viewers.

Maya is evil incarnate. Fact accepted. We can't compare her actions with the saintly Saanjh Ayaan or Vandy!

Saanjh tries to kiss an intoxicated Arjun feels so right.

Ayaan tearing apart his bhabi clothes to get the keys or whatever and mouthing disgusting dialogues like he will do such a thing with her that she won't be able to face anyone... God knows what that even means! what was his intent that Maya won't be able to face anyone! This is so right.

Vandy throws garbage at her bahu. There you go... Right again!

All these actions are so right cuz these are done by the pure souls of the show the innocent victims

Maya can't hug her husband or caress his chest... that's so wrong!!! Idt even Arjun complained being molested to Ayaan. his complains were mainly his suffocation and not getting any freedom.

No matter how much you are provoked such actions have no justification. It just shows the low mentality of the so called saints.

I say this accepting the fact Maya is wrong . She is dark but don't see the white characters any better. .under provocation they too start behaving like animals!

Arjun loathes Maya, she is obsessed with him...What is even remotely romantic about this most toxic relationship????😆

But I genuinely believe, if Arjun had been the psychotic n obsessed one, n Maya his imprisoned wife, there would have been a gigantic furore over the bedroom scene...😆

It was not any rape . umm but well MayA should let Arjun go. She is making him hate her by her despo behaviour. I am fed up with her psychotic ways. Can't CVS just bring changes on her slowly. Like realisation repentance and redemption!!!!

Arjun does love her but she has forced him to an edge separated him from his family and friends , made him a loner and trying to make him psyco like herself.

This is not acceptable. Maya needs a break , a therapy and Arjun needs air to breath.

If they remain together more Arjun may end up killing Maya or himself
