Aditi: I was purposely being acidic. Had to vent after the gruesome spectacle I watched yesterday; and add to that the numerous people coming to Maya's defense with "Oh Maya baby was tortured in childhood so yeah whatever she does is OK. Vandana knew what she was getting into, come on".

The latter part especially blew my fuse. Couldn't help myself. 😆

Some person has commented like Vandana walking into Maya's secret room is akin to a misadventure- 'braving into a lioness's den' or something like that!
Very true! Maya is exactly behaving like a wild big cat!
But her place should be a wild jungle, not in a civil society! At best, one can consider some place in a Zoo! But, not in the middle of law abiding citizens!

@krystal have you read Mary Higgins Clarke books. Read " A Stranger is watching " and " You Belong to me", especially You Belong to me. It's something, the dark suspense leaves you spell bound. Her stories are mostly psychological thrillers.
@aditi I have not watched this sowbhagyavati bhava. And for some time Indian TV didnt even had proper thrillers.

@shruthiravi, one more rule of life - do not go into the relationship of two, everyone will suffer. It's true. If the third comes into the relationship of two, it becomes worse for everyone
Another point is the curse of VM. "While in your heart only Maya you will suffer" somehow. Now the problem of the suffering of VM is in fact that not only Maya is in Duffer's heart. If only Maya was in his heart, he would not go to the family, he would not blumb Ayan everything, would not take the VM home. He would solve the problem differently. Even now, Duffer can solve the problem differently. Why Dusky? Why Mathur's house? You have enough money, buy a house, hire a nurse and everything will be fine
If the priority of VM Ayan, she could conclude a deal with Maya. There are options, there are many. But they choose the path of destruction. Why are supposedly sane normal good people can't choose the path of help? Honesty? Creation? Why do they destroy?

I watch episodes of Savdhan India. What Maya does is nothing compared to those real life incidents. Even in that case only some jail term is given. There was a crazy episode where a taxi driver drugs his passengers at a particular point, robs them and then puts them near a river. The crocodiles in the river feeds on them and it is told that crocodiles ate people. You cannot punish crocodiles naa. And when he was caught he told he fed 28 people to crocodiles like that 🤢, imagine people who are simple travellers, people with whom he had no enemity. Feeding them to crocodiles just to get some money.

I am surprised to see that you take these Savdhan India episodes to be true 😡 ?? NO, Shrutiravi they are NOT...these are all just made up stories ...when this programme started , then for almost a year the episodes were based on true stories but after that first year , things changed...everything you see on SI is ABSOULUTLY made up fiction . I can say this with 100% authencity . I will not reveal my source but what I have stated is THE TRUTH.

I love Savdhan India. Yeah, the authenticity is far less in comparison to Crime Patrol or say, a Gumrah. The sets are almost always glamorous, some of the characters larger-than-life, and the Police would almost always arrive at the end in a filmy-style.
A lot of the stories on SI are made up, that too in a quite evident fashion.

But what makes it stand apart are the riveting stories it has to tell, the familiarity of the crimes, the realness of the emotions that we feel run through us when we watch an episode. It's presented in a crime thriller format, and they are damn good at hiding the actual culprit in the manner of a Carr, Christie or even Sheldon.

That's what binds me to it. The stories and the actors who enact them. And the fact that the crimes portrayed are depressingly real and ring far too many bells.

True but this is just a show. And ppl hate the character. What they say is not applicable to real life.

It's one thing to say and another to mean. How many have even seen blood during a loss of baby or sorrow with a loss of child? When they experience it they won't wish it on their enemy.

Anyways in real life for all we knowVM could be dead for her act.

So take things with a pinch of salt and relax.

this is my opinion but i still find Maya a grey-sided character unless those murders are confirmed as her doing.

I do not like what happened to VD but for the life of me I connot bring myself to like her and saanjh. They know whom they are dealing with. I tend to skip their scenes.

@navya I know stories might be made up, but 100% I was not sure. i watch SI as well as Crime Patrol. SI is presented more like a story while Crime Patrol is the journey of the investigation team. Both has its beauty. Actually I love good thrillers. Since TV doesnt offfer many good thrillers you have to satisfy with Crime Patrol/SI.
@Mehr for me too what happened to VM was not right, but then I cant bring myself to sympathize completely with her.

Yes that physical torture was gruesome. But then sometimes emotional torture is far more worse than physical torture. Because physical scar heals, emotional one on most occasion doesnt and it manifest in various cruel forms. I still remember while watching EHT one full episode was dedicated to the emotional rape of Payal Mitra b Sakshi Goenka, where Sakshi creates the atmosphere of the night Payal's rape happened and make 4 goons just surround the mentally unstable girl. They only walk around her beating the dhols, but the way it affects the girl was too gruesome even to explain.

In that scene Payal Mitra was an innocent gullible girl. She was innocent when the actual rape happened and she was innocent when the emotional rape happened.

I cant place VM in that innocent category. She is not innocent, neither gullible. She came to play with Maya and Maya started showing her viswaroop.

Lol when you put things that way it's nice to read than the rant.

I sadly did not feel any pity for vm the charecter. I am only looking at it as a show and not real life. Love Maya here but won't touch her with a barge pole in real life.

Anyways each have different perspective and there is no such thing as global peace. That's what Susan Collins wrote in detail in Hunger Games.

Shruti,
Vandana was 'innocent' in this context. her intentions were not to harm Maya, but to save her son Ayan.
