Sometimes love is not just about giving life, it is also taking life for the one you loved, to protect your loved one or giving justice to your loved one.

Jaan de bhi sakthi hai or jaan le bhi saakthi hai. A mother can die for a child or take life to protect her child. A wife or husband can die for their loved one or take life for their loved one. Same with every relation.

In MB when Arjun fights the battle of his life on 14th day, it is for his son, who was brutally murdered, it was a father's guilt and agony pushing the man to avenge the man who guarded the vyuha that killed his child. Arjun is death incarnate on that day. If he cannot take life, he will give away his life. Either destroy other or destroy himself in fire along with his son's pyre.

So dying, killing all are part of love in its own way. Only we need to see the situation in which it happens. And it is never seen in dialogues, it is seen in action which alas Dusky doesnt know.

May be you will get a new meaning for " Love is not taking the life of one you love". 😃, because I cried a long time after reading the last part. I knew it because I knew the protoganist Harry Clifton by then, but still I was angry at the author why he gave such a choice to Harry. Why it couldnt have been something else
