This is exactly the reason why I do not want an Arya. Arjun has become an abusive husband... even if Maya harms herself behind closed doors, there is no excuse for the way Arjun behaved in front of Jhanvi and in the party. He did abuse her physically. And an abuser never changes... this is not a simple issue, in real life the only way out is to get out of that relationship.

Lets hope Maya and Samay are a better pair... be it friends or more.

@tanvi why doesnt Arjun initiate a divorce. He can bring a man and beat him. Why cant he go and seek counsel for divorce. if he had tried that and she stopped it that's a different thing. Arjun just need to shoot this behaviour of Maya, show it to the court and get divorce. It is as simple as that. You get divorce easily by the mental instability of the spouse.

But problem with him is that yes he doesnt want Maya, but want all the material luxuries she gives. Also he wants her to iniative divorce so that in front of society she is wrong, not he. Arjun is an escapist. Earlier also he used to put blame of Vandana and then Saanjh for his problems.
