I think he is.

Mad as Jhanvi is, she did love and care for Maya while Ashwin was there.

But she also loved Ashwin and his death has pushed her over the edge. She probably thinks Maya and Arjun are responsible for his death and so is taking a twisted form of revenge- ensuring that her daughter goes through the same pain of separation from her beloved that she did.

@KS I am with you only. The mother in Jhanvi is missing. Even my mom was telling the same today. Usually her hunches dont go wrong. Maya has two birth dates. Her truth lies there.

@selly the voice Maya baby wont come just like that. There is more to what meets the eye.

I agree..Jhanvi is the key to the whole story behind Maya's past...She does love Maya and has been protective about her but there is definitely more to her than what meets the eye...Maybe she is Maya's real mother but has just lost her mind now after Ashwin's death...Maybe she is responsible for Ashwin's death and is ridden with guilt and wants to make up to Ashwin by finishing what he wanted to do...Maybe she and Ashwin planned to prove and Maya is crazy all along...so many possibilities.

But I have a question, you mentioned that Maya has 2 birth dates and I've seen other people mention this too. When was this shown in the show??? I don't remember anything like this ever being said..maybe I missed it.

During earlier episodes it was shown. The first official introduction of maya and saanjh..
Maybe during 2nd week of show..

Very appropriate title for this 2 phase story ...

Vandana expression cracks me up big time ... the shadow is def not ashwin, it was made up where maya was in the washroom ...the features kind of does not match ashwin... the maya baby tone is also kind of new voice ..

Talking abt 2 birth dates ... I rewatch back the episode where saanjh tell abt the 2 birth dates ... it was 7 sept 1991 and 9 sept 1991 ... what difference is gonna make with this 2 days ... the years are of the same ...

I really have no idea whether maya really wants to change or trying to change for a purpose ... in terms of vandana considering the damage of the Mandap n all done by vandana , the only thing where I see maya wants her love by any means is just to prove to saanjh that she can get what she has too ... she wants that vandana 's love that is exclusive for saanjh for her now ...

As of vandana I have to idea why she's reacting the way she is ... she could have made a difference in maya s life but she chooses not too ... not once she thought it will be easy for maya to convince arjun n leave the hse and stay at her place ... but she chooses to leave the riches and all behind and coming down from her level to be with the sharma s ... it's not easy for her as well but for arjun she's trying to fit the bill ... or perhaps mayb she wants the love where she has never got it from her parents and the riches that she has ...

I'm loving this new saanjh ...


Jhanvi is another interesting character , mayb she helping the police officer to track down the real murderer ... coz the other day not wanting maya to stay back and asking her to leave is a bit odd considering her condition at that moment ... jhanvi went with the gun but I dun think she killed him so the police guy could have easily brain wash jhanvi to help him to find out the real murderer or to frame maya or arjun in this case ...

I do hope maya and arjun stay with jhanvi at the moment ... she really needs to be watched rather than vandana ... and I love maya 's room at her hse ...

I'm happy that the Thriller an Suspense #Beyhadh is Back.. I too feel some way that Ashwin its really dead or not somehow they making the Ghost track but I think its to prove Maya pagal to Arjun by her mother or Both Jaanvi an Ashwin

Don't worry saanjh will plan for ArYa honeymoon only...I was waiting for your review and I am not convinced still..I think we should wait for the episodes
