I have always liked this show's promos. In way, they're far more interesting than the actual episodes, I may say. Although, this one too made me sit up, take notice of it and eventually open this topic. 😆 The promo manages to save sense of mystery/thrill despite the million of spoilers doing the round, whatever little that is left of it. If I am to disregard every theory and spoiler there is out there and just watch the promo, it'd be hard to speculate because the entire thing is so ambiguous.

Scene opens with Maya reciting another one of her soliloquies.

Nazar nahi apna ateet ka bojh utaar rahi hoon

Acha bura jaisa bhi tha, aaj bhula rahi hoon.

If I'm to consider her intention of leaving her past behind for once and for all and for the good a genuine one, Maya as Ashwin's killer wouldn't make much of a sense.

Maine jo manga apne diya

Bas itna waada ki jiye ke

She's shown to be thankful to Almighty for having been with her through the good and the bad and protecting her at all costs. And she's asking for another behest/prayer.

Mere ateet ki parchayi mere bhavishya

Ke daaman ko na chuye

AND BAM! 😳 There comes the shock value of the promo. Ashwin's dead body falling from atop right on the havan kund/fire. Ateet ki parchayi Maya ke aaj par padh gayi. Ashwin's blood on both Arjun and Maya's faces is symbolic to that. This last part of her soliloquy is what leaves me intrigued. The fact that it is so ambiguous that there can be a dozen theories on it. If Maya did kill Ashwin to ensure her past doesn't meddle with her present, why does she seem shocked at what happened. That look she gave to her Ganesha idol is something difficult to decipher. Did she not expect it to come out in the open that she murdered Ashwin? That God didn't protect her secret this time around? Or did she not actually kill him at all? I think it could be the former case than latter. Reason? I'm not entirely sure, it is just a gut feeling. Oh and I don't know if Kushal was supposed to act that way or if its just how he expresses shock. I get that Jennifer/Maya's expression must be been carefully directed so as to not let out any considerable hint but Kushal/Arjun just seemed...bland. Upar se laash giri hai bhai, koi chipkali nahi jo itna low key reaction de rahe ho. 😆

Not sure if the exact events will take place in the episode too as these promos are more a representation of how the story will be going forward. But if they do, Maya's ultimatum to still get married in that very mandap would seem rather lunatic. Going by the various shooting segments though, she seems to have insisted to complete all the rituals even when the entire mandap had caught fire. That wouldn't seem any less of a lunatic act either, not to the people present at the sight definitely.

With her shocking expression. We all know Maya knows how to play it off. So if she did kill ashwin, people won't be able to tell especially not Arjun. But I say it's jhanvi. But what if Vandana. Accidently kills him after he kidnaps her. That would be one he'll of a shock. But fingers would be pointing towards Maya, Arjun might even have doubts and people will be using his death to hide there own secrets.

@ani actually that body falling from top reminded me of Tamil movie "Snehithaye" where the dead body lands in the middle of a dance performance. That was a super thriller movie😃

Well jokes apart for me in yesterday's episode when Maya tries to tell the truth to Arjun and he tells her, he doesnt want to know her past, Maya felt that is her victory. Her past Arjun wont mind. She was about to tell him, her stabbing Ashwin and her mental illness including suicide attempts. The thoughts in her mind reflected that. She was genuinely happy when he stopped her. So I dont think she is the killer.

But then that blood on both their faces indicate that the fact Arjun didnt hear her out is going to go against her. Maybe she didnt murder Ashwin now , but then her stabbing him, her enemity with him and many other things including her psychic behaviour will ensure she is trapped, maybe along with that he is also trapped.

Or it can be she murdered, but the clues will point to him including whatever he told in the pub. So it might put Maya in a fix where all her back story will have to come out if a lawyer that is Saanjh needs to defend Arjun. Because only from that past, the present can be deciphered and truth reached.

And why do I feel the killer is not any of them but someone else completely and that third person is completely hidden but that murder will bring all the turmoil in Arjun-Maya life.

From the look she had given to Ganesh idol & her resolution of moving on from her past forgetting everything I don't think maya wud do something like that.

And maya is in mandap where as ashwin news reached them at mandap but just before wedding he was with vandana & told her something abt maya.

In all this.. I don't think maya killed ashwin.

May be jhanvi or someone else !

Let's see what drama unfolds..

It is Vandana I guess. Jhanvi killing Ashwin is predictable because if not Maya, Jhanvi was the one saying meri beti pe koi saaya nahi aayega stuff.

Not Maya or Jhanvi- but koi aur.

Maybe Arjun? Or saanjh?

It cannot be Saanjh, because she is the lawyer. That role is kept to defend who ever is accused. So I dont think it is her.

Mayb someone from the past- someone that is linked to ashwin saying maya will be jail 20-25 years if the truth is out ... the person was believe to die but alive 😆 or that person died and someone he/she knows is taking the revenge now

Is there possibility of ayaan ...

Seems like we have made each and every character as a suspect 😆

^See that's the part I love. Everyone turning detectives. Ab aayega mazzaa.

Also, considering the idea ki some one from the past aaya hai badla lene . Interesting. Maybe she/he was never killed. Or uska koi khaas. But then they'll have to find someone as strong as ashwin and maya. As in rajesh and jenny. Warna feel nahi ayega.
