But love, romance it needs a spark that is beyond platonic friendship. The whole concept of pyaar dosti hai, dosti hi pyaar hai is some what delusional. You can have real good friends apart from your spouse. And to tell every such friendship is love is madness.

A spouse has to take a journey of life with you, or rather has to walk with you. It is always better you get a person who has similar thoughts like you on key things for that. It is better to have a person who can walk with you in thick and thin you need as the partner. If you see in the Seven vows of marriage life long friendship is the last vow, not the first vow. You know why, because that friendship is formed through a journey of trials and tribulations, weathering many storms, standing together in many a tough situation, understanding each other, fighting and reconciling, a point is reached where you are able to bare it all with your spouse. Without fear. Because trust is generated through actions and it is endearing. That friendship stands the test of fire or it is formed through test of fire.

Now you will ask is Maya is right for Arjun. At tnis point no. But she can be if her underlying problems are treated. Because she has taken a journey of deprivation like him. She is able to correct his long standing fears and perceptions, he is able to do the same to her. So yes they are better matched.

I would have preferred Saanjh to stick to her decision of not following Arjun and let him go. But I feel it wont happen. Vandana and Suman might meddle and will send her to Mauritius. I'm glad saanjh realized this for her own good and her decision to not go to mauritiius is a good one, it is a lost cause at this point. However, vandana and suman will yet again convince her to go, I'm really tired of their meddlesome ways. When saanjh comes back heartbroken then I hope the mothers have the decency to blame themselves, not maya.
