Going to keep this short, again. I kept away from this forum on purpose because truth to be told, the environment is quite negative for me to be able to peacefully have healthy discussions or debates. Coming to the topic, this one dialogue says it all. Isn't that so true? Unless the real truth reveals itself, it's always going to be your truth vs my truth. If you're getting pulled into what's being shown and told, you too are missing out on the lager picture and just looking at the singular pieces of a one huge and complex puzzle. Wait a little before you go all guns blazing on each and every character in the show, more specifically (and popularly) everyone except Maya. Personally, I get each character where they're coming from, including the likes of Ashwin. As much as I despise him, I actually look forward to all his scenes because he's one character who takes the story forward. I like the way the show's been going about. So far, so good.

You have analysed this dialogue very well... This line applies to everyone in the show as well as in this forum.. We see at a single picture of a puzzle and try to choose truth acc to our wish.. Truth in reality maybe a vry different picture..

Seriously that's very true
Maya told her truth the way she wants to present it
And Arjun will believe that truth and consider that the sole and only truth

Until and unless someone comes and tells him something otherwise... and even then he will have to wait...
by the way the show is going I think that the truth may be that maya had been diagnosed with some psychological disorder due to torture

I was lmfao when ashwin said Maine lihaaz kiya ki tum ladki ho... I was like what? so when u used torture her and abuse her she wasn't a girl then? That was the dialogue of the day lmfaooo
I was like yea ok! go say that to someone else!!

Love your post straight to the point
Even I'm very eager to know the real truth of maya
Seriously nowadays this forum has become a war zone between fandoms
Like seriously instead of a debate or talk all bashing actors and characters
Actors are doing the demand of the character
Seriously yaar

@ishakumar - That 'lihaaz' word coming from him seemed like a joke to me too. 😆 However, I can't help but think that's somehow tied up to her past. As in, he could have conveyed the truth to Arjun or his family in number of ways other than showing up at his house. I think that's what he meant by lihaaz. Didn't he say 'beti', I don't remember him saying 'ladki' in that dialogue? Not sure though.

It definitely was Maya's own truth. And as for Ashwin, I don't think he would be very truthful himself. The only person who can tell an unbiased truth would be Maya's mum, only if she dares not to mention.

^^yea maybe jhanvi can tell Arjun the unbiased truth...
Ashwin is a liar anyways he will tell him mirch masala laga key lmfaooo
Arjun should believe everything ashwin tells him
Instead he should go and ask jhanvi about the truth

Yeah, he said beti hone ka lihaz kiya h...
I am still trying to guess what does his this words means?? What lihaz has he really done.. Maya was quite scared hearing this.. Lets see what he does now.. without lihaaz ashwin will be fun to watch..

I don't expect Ashwin to be truthful either. He's obviously going to tell his side of the truth. Yeah, the only unbiased and the real truth can be told by Jhanvi. If her character is supposed to be serving that purpose, she'll eventually do that.

His reasons for torturing Maya are obviously not going justify or validate his actions. But of course, it will reveal the reason behind it all and that is what we need to know in order to know who exactly Maya is.
