Yes, it seems so. As I said, everybody has their own thoughts and experience of sychos..

No, I would say it's other way. I mean, those people who have not seen any sycho, would call her sycho.. and the people who have already seen many sychos in life or movies/shows, they wouldn't call her sycho, as maybe they saw more thrilling things than this one. But I, from my experience, I wouldn't call her normal! She needs to see a doctor that's definitely for sure! Yes, she didn't harm anyone.. but for calling someone sycho, the person needs to kill/murder someone?

I really don't understand what you guys think *psychopath* actually means? Psychopath means, a person who has mental problems.. can't think of other people's feelings..

The symptoms of a psychopaths are these:

1. ruthlessly
2. irresponsible
3. can't put himself/herself in others position
4. impulsive
5. feeling of guilt or repent or shame are foreign for those people.
6. self-esteem increases

Most of these symptoms are present in Maya! Now tell me, if we can call her a sycho or not?

It has been specified time and again that Maya is not a psychopath (which is why everyone was making claims that this show is different from others) she is an insomniac sociopath (someone who is antisocial and doesn't function according to the norms society sets as "normal" ,she is the way she is because of her tortured past)

the difference is that a psychopath doesn't have a conscience (e g gone girl) whatsoever but we have seen how God fearing maya is and how much respect she gives bappa we have Ashwin in the show for the very reason a constant reminder that Maya is who she because of him.She has always been fair and just unless something comes up that threatens her love

Maya is a very flawed character and I love her for these flaws .

Nobody is justifying what she is doing but trying to understand the psyche behind her actions.

It's upto the Cvs to either stick to the concept they have been raving from the start or go the cliche route and make Maya some sanki killer I will always hope for the former.

yea well that is your point of view, and i completely respect that.

But to be honest never did i see maya as irresponsible.
she is very responsible actually thats why she has been so sucessful without the help of any man she has proven that she doesnt need anyone. especially when it comes to her loved ones, she is very responsible and takes good care of her mother. 👏

She is not ruthless, because if she was ruthless she would never forgive Arjun and employ him in her office again. if she was ruthless, she would have killed her father already LOL 😆

she is not impulsive, because woh har kadam soch samajh jke rakhti hai. impulsive is someone who does things without thinking, and maya on the other hand take every step very carefully and with thought. like inviting saanjh to dinner, usne bahot soch samajh ke plan kiya. 😲😲😲

Feeling of guilt is not foreign to her, because when she didnt let her mom go out much she felt bad and took her out shopping and let her go out with friends to spend time with them

her self esteem doesnt increase when she causes pain to others. she didnt look happy when she tore up Saanjh's papers. she did it only because saanjh got her mad. otherwise she was actually quite nice at first asking her what she wanted to drink or eat... ⭐️

yea she is quite normal and god fearing...
she knows what she should and shouldnt do deep inside
but she makes mistakes and later repents...
