I totally agree Saanjh is not obsessive she is genuinely concerned Arjun is a careless guy who puts himself in trouble and Saanjh just looks out for him bcoz she loves him and I am sure she will leave him when she comes to know abt ArYa I am open to both the couples but if Saajun is not the end game I feel bad for Saanjh she should stop wasting her time and move on that guy was so nice also I like Saanjh with Ayaan maybe they can end up together.

I'm one of the few Saanjh "likers", if you can use that word, on this forum.

Like Maya's characterisation too (JW doing a great job), but at the end of the day, you can't come home to an obsessed wife.

Nobody on these forums is like Maya in real life (more will relate to Saanjh personality wise), and the grass always appears greener on the other side initially, as it will to Arjun later in this serial 😉

I don't hate Saanjh even being a Jenny fan, I like Aneri too. And I have strong feeling that as show progresses people will sypathize with Saanjh. She is the heroine and Maya is the anti heroine. The story revolves around anti heroine, Maya but i don't see any future for Arjun - Maya together, it is not necessary too. I won't even be able to accept if Maya starts harming or killing people in her beyhad love for Arjun. I don't think any sane fandom will do that. Lets just wait for sometime to see how viewers reaction would change. At the end of the show I'm sure many would be loving Saanjh. So chill😛

@bold Exactly. Its not like there is any cure for a sociopath like Maya. A careless guy like Arjun won't be able to put up with her for long. He needs Saanjh for anything and everything how long will he tolerate Maya trying to keep him away from Saanjh. Its never practical, nor relatable. If they keeps Arjun Maya together, it will be a glorification of Beyhad pyaar. I don't think that is happening, so thinking practically I don't ship for Maya - Arjun. They shouldn't compromise Maya's character to make her a normal heroine.

Is it wrong for think sanjh needs to emerge strong character.
Is it wrong to think sanjh deserve a guy's first choice not selfish arjun's second chance.
Is it wrong for me think sanjh should be independent and see other things besides Arjun

I dont like Saanjh... not because she is in love with Arjun. But her characterization is poor and she is annoying... She behaves like she has a hangover of Khushi... She is not cool but trying to act like cool and that puts me off...I would have liked her if she was more mature than kiddish

Sahnj like all the other characters on this show has her positive and negative points. The story revolves around how Maya becomes a Beyhadh Junooni lover and how this effects the friendship and equation of Arjun and Sahnj's previously uncomplicated life.

The issue that a lot of people have with Sanjh's character is her lack of maturity sometimes. The way she acts too hyper and chirpy and her Mother is most annoying. I like both her parents but her Mum needs to act more like a parent and less like a friend. Sanjh is shown as a typical girl and she is very naive too. She is clearly smart as she got through Law school. But her brain smarts has not given her a practical nature that would make her back off a bit more from Arjun.

Her Father's anger towards her is 100% justified as she wasted both their time and that guy Jeetu's with this game. But I get why she did it. I dont blame her, but I feel bad for her that she rejected a guy who genuinely likes her for Arjun who is clueless of her feelings. I am still not sure if Arjun has feelings for Sanjh or not. But I think I expected her character to be less annoying in it's presentation.

In the promos I thought her role will be of a very grounded girl who keeps Arjun in check! YES she does! But the way she does it is sometimes irritating. Her brother is right, she has become a Kichdi in Arjun's life and he will see Maya as Biryani. Yes Biryani everyday is not good for you. But that takes time and an episode of indigestion to hammer home. Sahnj is her own worst enemy and you feel bad seeing her falling deeper and deeper into a pit, oblivious about the growing equation of Maya and Arjun.

No one hates her. I just dislike these type of broad generalizations. If we want to say we don't like Sahnj's behavior in a given situation, then we can. This is a free forum and the forum is there to discuss the show and the characters. This is not a Fan Club. So I don't see why people cant criticize a character. Most have criticized Arjun as well, not just Sanjh. I personally criticized both. I also don't like things Maya does. But her back story is such that we can rationalize some of it. But Arjun and Sanjh can sometimes be downright silly. (Like the time Arjun took those movie passes from Maya's office). The guy has a death wish. But luckily he still has a job due to having a persistent side to him.

I don't know what it is, but for the past year or two I have been noticing, the forums are becoming too Politically correct and people cant even give their honest opinion without being labelled a "Hater" or a "Basher". It's like these two words are being over used to describe everything. It's really very childish! Everyone is entitled to an opinion and to express it. As long as they are not abusive, then anything goes.

Plus she is average looking girl so its not like wow she looks so gorgeous i so like her. Her character is positive but it lacks charm so why to like her? is it compulsory to like all the positive characters?

Saanjh is really annoying at times, but so is Arjun. But again, I'm glad that the makers didn't make these both acchai ki murti. :P

Saanjh cares for him too much and gets clingy at times. One person who is totally bang on at this point of time is Prem.

Arjun is annoying and HIGHLY unrealistic at times.

Also, Saanjh is clingy and SO is Arjun. He has taken Saanjh for granted, has literally made her his private driver or sorts and orders her (Saanjh being blinded by love/friendship, does whatever he says without uttering a word) and actually treats Saanjh more like a doormat of sorts (BB7 fans will geddit xD ).

So yeah, I agree with TM that Saanjh is criticized for literally the smallest of her mistakes( forget Saanjh's mistakes, even for Aneri's looks. And I'm not even kidding. Just saw a reply in this thread which is like-"why should I like her , she is just average looking and not gorgeous." And that is why I decided to comment on this post.)

And at the end of the day, howsoever Annoying/clingy is Saanjh, I would actually give up all the pizzas in the world to get a friend like Saanjh.(A big pizza lover myself, so saying this is a big thing for me.)

And as for Maya, I love it that finally , she is ONE refreshing change for Indian TV. And Jennifer is surely killing it.

But having said that, call me old school, but practically, if I had to choose between a clingy bff who knows me even better than myself, and an obsessive psychopath, I'd OBVIOUSLY go with the clingy bff. :P

Though in Behaydh, I hope there is no endgame shizz even if Maya receives medical help. That would be truly mainstream. So I don't want ArYa or SaJun to endup together. Saanjh can go with Jeetu and focus on her law career. Arjun can focus on his photography career. And Maya can finally take a break and chill. And find someone with whom she feels less of junoon and more of sukoon. ;)
